GoogleFrankly poor! Seeking additional valuation when selling parents' property. ELR came in 40% less than 2 other valuations.
Agent replied · 14 June 2024
Morning Sally, Our records show the valuation was 4 years ago in 2018 so I wish you got in touch with us back then to discuss the valuation rather than leave it 4 years to show your disappointment. However, as the Valuer & Director of the Rotherham Office with over 23 years valuing experience in and around Rotherham & in my defence, I was on holiday for the period you had your valuation & a colleague of mine from another Branch was standing in for me during that time. Although he is an experienced valuer, he may have struggled on your individual property & the area. I would have been more than happy to come back out and see on my return. In the future if you require a valuation from ELR, please make sure I'm not holiday! I'm glad you managed to sell the property for a fair price in the end.

GoogleAmazing service, very professional and helpful. Big thanks to Richard on the valuation and Nicole with the sale. Great company, great people. Highly recommend!

GoogleUnfortunately a very poor experience, called to view a property, they forgot to arrange it, called again, left details again, no response, tried email, no response. I feel for the sellers, people want to view their property but ELR stand in the way with no response!

GoogleI would like to thank everyone involved in our sale and purchase, especially Nicole, who always kept us up to date, despite several changes and complications along the way. I would recommend you consider ELR for your sale. Thank you Jamie and Family

Hi Jamie, Thank you very much for your kind words & for putting your faith in ELR to sell your property in the first place. There certainly were one or two hurdles along the way but we have a strong & knowledgeable team here which certainly helped to see it over the line. Best wishes to you and the family in your new home.

GoogleWe can’t thank the team at ELR enough for supporting us throughout the sale of our late fathers house. Their professionalism and dedication has been exemplary. When the odd buyer issue cropped up, they stepped in each time and helped us resolve the problems. Fantastic communication throughout with regular updates and much effort put in by the ELR team when chasing down the chain where web based selling agents were being used where they clearly don’t offer the same personal touch as a traditional agent like ELR. At the last hurdle before the sale went through, had it not been for Richard and Nicole putting in so much time and effort, our sale might have collapsed without their intervention and that’s the kind of personal service you really need when selling a house. Amazing jog, amazing people, brilliant estate agents, bravo and thank you to the team at ELR who we whole heartedly would recommend to everyone 👏🏻🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hi Chris, Thank you very much for such kind words & so glad we managed to finally get it over the line for you & Andy. There we're a few interesting hurdles along the way but it's all in the course of Estate Agency! The new owners love the property & I'm looking forward to seeing it again when they've put their own stamp on it. All the best.

GoogleThe team in the Hathersage office have been very friendly and efficient, following up quickly on any queries and helping everything run smoothly during a hectic time.

GoogleWe started our house buying journey in the Peak District some time ago and after one unsuccessful would be purchase due to events beyond our control Hayley at ELR, Hathersage played a crucial part in helping us secure the house we wanted on a new build small estate. We are now in and love it. Throughout the quite long period both Hayley and Katherine provided professional as well as a friendly and sympathetic service in ensuring we got the best outcome. I highly recommend ELR.

FacebookELR Bakewell provided an excellent, friendly and professional service throughout the selling process and were a great support to us especially as we were selling a property remotely. Their communication was excellent throughout and they worked hard to find the right buyer for the property. I would highly recommend Stephanie, Kim and Andrew as well as those in the background at ELR.

GoogleWe chose E L R because Truly came over as a very competent profession person. And was very helpful. But towards the end of the sale process things seemed to decline .
Agent replied · 14 June 2024
Thank you for the feedback & review Mr Kay. I'm obviously disapointed by the 2 star review so have looked into your purchase, read the notes & spoken to Truly. As far back as March Truly was chasing both Solicitors explaining that you wanted a completion ASAP & she chased them weekly. She did as much as she could to hurry things along but as you were aware, the communication between the Solicitors wasn't very good & this slowed things down at each stage. I feel your 2 stars reflects on their service. I hope you enjoy the new home.

FacebookA very helpful and professional team. Selling and buying a house is a stressful process. ELR were always available to help chase up queries and offer advice on how to move forward. I would definitely use them for my next sale and recommend them to my friends.
