An Incredible Agency - Worth more than 5*****

I have been house hunting for the past six months + and have NEVER come across such an incredible estate agency and staff members as ELR. From the phone call with their agent, the Amazing Alex, to the communications sent to me via e-mail and the actual viewing itself, the entire process merits a gazillion stars. The staff are incredible, their listings fantastic and meeting your specific requirements outstanding. After my viewing, I also received an unexpected call from Kevin asking me how it all went. We had a lovely chat and he was just as warm and friendly as Alex regarding my specific requirements and personal take on the viewing just completed. ELR is absolutely a fantastic agency and one whom now make me hesitant to work with any other agency!

Travelled 50 miles to tentively view a property which had previously stated A private drive .This had changed to a shared drive.Upon arriving at the property the property had vehicular access over a pavement .By definition a drive MUST have a dropped kerb .If not you are risking a hefty fine .Misrepresentation is not only illegal but off putting to potential purchasers.

Superb agent

We’ve been viewing houses for more than 6 months now and have never had such a great experience as we did with Nell! Most agents seem to have very little information about the properties, and the most common answer is “I don’t know”, which is just a total waste of time. Nell, on the other hand, was extremely knowledgeable and answered every single question we had. She also gave us lots of useful information about solicitors and the property market in general, which we really appreciated. I honestly wish all estate agents were as helpful, knowledgeable and insightful as Nell!

Awful experience from start to finish. Emails ignored, phone calls ignored, and communication was basically non-existent when I actually needed them. The worst part was entering the property without my knowledge or permission, then giving the ridiculous excuse that they were supposedly concerned I was “dying”. Completely unacceptable and a huge invasion of privacy. After moving out, it then took almost 3 weeks to deal with the checkout, only for the landlord to come back with cleaning charges that, in my view, were completely unjustified and not supported by anything that warranted the amount claimed. Based on my experience, I found both the agent and landlord dishonest in the way matters were handled. Poor communication, no respect for a tenant’s privacy, and questionable charges at the end of the tenancy. I would not rent through them again and certainly wouldn’t recommend them.

Amazing customer service

The whole experience from start to finish was stress free. Communication was really good and someone always answered my calls and emails straightaway. As the process advanced, Mark was just amazing. No question too much and he responded really quickly to all my queries. Alex was also great and helped me to be in the property in time for the BT engineer when I needed to. Grace under fire

Our situation, coming from another country and having no rental or credit history in the UK, presented a number of challenges for the letting agent / credit team. They had to manage the credit agency and deal with a very frustated potential tenant. Very disappointed. We viewed a property on 7 plane road wickersley 200-220k . Been told from the vendors they had a cash offer but if you offer 210k now i will take it off market . We did that phoned the agency and gave the offer. Than been told is a similar offer. No answer we had to chase them 2 days to understand what is happening . After we increased the offer 215k to get the property because they had similar offers. They wanted me to go through the financial check with their brokers when we already got mortgage and principal in place for 250k + . Just wasted our time 3 days . Kept us in pressure and than been told vendors choosed someone else this time . That’s the weirdest experience i ever had . When you ask someone pay me this and we pay extra where is the words that u promise . Not proffesional at all . Also vendors been told we have to get advice from agents for the decision. So definitely dirty play from agency . Thanks for messing people around. Was not end of the word as we have lots of better options. Just frustrated because all what we spoken was not what we got . Everyone was lying us and trying to get as much money and possibly and keeping everyone in tension . God bless you all we are wishing from bottom of the heart whoever messed us all the best . 😁
