GoogleI have been looking house from past few months and was tired looking houses online. I am very much looking to move in Solihull and can’t find the right property and than I thought I won’t bother moving home. It was all possible only because of DM & CO agency representative called RAV. She is extremely helpful and good listener. RAV is very professional from her field and most importantly she understands her clients requirements. Today I am purchasing house in Solihull from DM & CO and it wouldn’t be possible without the help and support from RAV. GoogleMyself and my partner recently had a viewing and put an offer in through DM & Co. We were shown around by Rav who gave us lots of details on the current owners and how they used the property. She was very friendly and we didn’t feel rushed at the property whilst viewing. Rav knew almost all the answers to every question I had and if she didn’t, she found out and called me that same night to let me know. We found out our offer had been accepted quickly and she let me know the next steps to go forward. She is a credit to the company and we hope we deal with her through till the end of the process. Rav has also called me to keep me updated every other day and find out how I am getting on ! We have had a few bad experiences with other estate agents and this has been a breath of fresh air! Thanks Rav!

GoogleDue to the home owners position, we had to expedite the purchasing process. From viewing the property to completion took just 5 working days. The team at DM & Co were instrumental in making this happen for both parties. The daily updates and ‘back office’ assistance made the experience enjoyable for what is normally a stressful experience. They took the stress away from selling our house by screening perspective purchasers and grouped bookings to suit our needs. GoogleMy wife and I instructed DM&Co for the sale of our property in Dorridge, Solihull. Overall, we were very please with the service. We would use them again and would recommend also to friends and family. DM&Co have excellent knowledge of the local housing market in the B93 post code area and, through their database of potential buyers, lined up several views before the property was placed on the market. In fact, we had an agreed sale via this channel before the house was event put on the market. The marketing fee was competitive compared with the various quotes that we obtained. Areas of potential improvement would be communion, which is why the review is why I didn’t give the full five stars. There was a last minute issue to attend to the viewings so the office manager was substituted at the last minute without informing me in advance. She did an excellent job under the circumstances but I’d have expected the opportunity to postpone the viewings until the allocated viewing agent that knew the property was available. Some documentation shares for me review was incomplete or pertaining to the wrong property. The initial after sales person allocated to me only worked two days a weeks which fell short of my expectation but this was resolved when a full time sales expeditor was allocated. In the grand scheme of things, not major issues and all were satisfactorily resolved. DM&Co did a great job to sell my property quickly and achieve completion before the end of June stamp duty incentive ended, which is a credit to them.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleWe decided to ask DM and Co to market our home because we were impressed by their enthusiasm, their expert knowledge, and their dynamic approach to marketing. We were not disappointed! The marketing was exactly as we had hoped, and to a very high standard. This attracted a very strong and immediate response, which enabled all the home viewings to be concentrated in less than two weeks, and was not disruptive of our pattern of life. The viewings generated a lot of interest from active buyers, and Kathy handled all the discussions and queries from prospective buyers extremely well. The DM team at Dorridge were all very helpful, and at every stage we were kept informed of developments, through to the completion of the sale, which could not have gone more smoothly. Our thanks go to Kathy and her colleagues for a job very well done!

I have been interacting with Elaine Birkley of the Dorridge DM&Co office over the last few weeks and have been impressed with the way in which she has represented her client(s) and the firm.My wife and I found Elaine to be commercially minded and willing to suggest or welcome ideas about approach to different aspects of the property. We liked the property that we saw the first time round, but adored it even more after Elaine offered and granted us a second visit.We are grateful for the professional insights, courtesy and time that she extended to us over weeks that we were in contact with one another.Having said the above, Elaine is also robust (although definitely not in a hard ball / hard sell way) in speaking on behalf of her client(s) and was very firm with what would / wouldn’t be acceptable. She was also persistent in chasing me down for responses (admittedly I’m not the best at picking up calls / texts throughout the day!), but crucially she was never overbearing or aggressive. Per above, I highly recommend Elaine and would know who to appoint if my wife and I were to sell our main residential property.

As a first time buyer, I was deeply let down and misled by the branch in Folkestone. Incredibly unprofessional service, false advertising of the property, resulting in me wasting 4 months and subsequently abandoning the process. Senior team not willing to take responsibility for their failings so at the moment escalating to the Ombudsman as I firmly believe this branch should not be in business and will be making recommendations to review their licence as my experience was incredibly poor, highlighting some shady if not illegal practices.

Be careful, they are1 Rude2 Hardly ever answer calls 3 Rarely check requests on zoopla and Rightmove4 They care less about youThat was exact feedback I got from one of my friends who was looking so much in market and she finally got a house. I told her I found this property in Cookridge through hunters that I’m planning to view, she was like good luck if they ever answered you or even bothered, I didn’t believe her but she was right in every word. I left two requests through Rightmove on day of advert but no reply, called them ten times over two days no answer and left them voice message with all details, they answered after three days when I did more requests through Rightmove at last, the lady was like I have received offers no more viewings I could take your name, I tried to explain myself it’s unfair I did this and that everything you said calls voice notes online booking , she was like sorry bye, she must be joking… when you think you hit rock bottom in worst customer service, no there’s more and hunters is a live example. I wish some good people in hunters read this so they could do something about it so their work wouldn’t be undermined by their rude unprofessional colleague.

Pathetic, 0 ProfessionalismI wanted to rent a 2 bed flat, just after the viewing I confirmed that I will be putting the holding deposit and asked for the account details. I was informed over a text message that they will be sending the details to everyone who viewed the property on next working day. I called back at 9:00 am Monday and I was told that I will be getting the mail with account details and I should go ahead with deposit. I did the same, later to know that property is already blocked as someone did the deposit earlier than me as they received the mail on Saturday itself.Upon asking why the mail was not sent to me on Saturday like other even after confirming and why you did'nt inform about the same in our morning conversation. I was told it's of no use to go round and round, we will not give you any answers. Clearly she didn't have any answer and was not ready to accept that she preferred someone over me because of some X,Y,Z reason. If that's the professionalism of a manager, then the average review rating certainly confirms the quality you expect from this organisation.

Their staff handled the sale extremely well, were very responsive, and kept us informed at every stage. We were very impressed with their service throughout.

Cooling off period contract disparity with hunters.We signed up to sell our property then changed our minds over the weekend as we are entitled to do under the 14 day cooling off period. There is a clause in the contract which contradicts this entitlement so be warned if you change your mind. The measure of any company is how they react! In our case, demand for payment and threat of debt collection when no work had been done. Be warned my fellow house moversThe sooner estate agents are regulated, the better for all concerned!!! Ombudsman your time to shine

We are absolutely disgusted with the way we have been treated regards to renting a property through hunters.We were told a move in date only to have it changed last minute and changed again after booking moving van and getting deliveries organised to come the next day.I will never use hunters again.
