I moved in to one of hunters…

I moved in to one of hunters properties, October last year, it seemed fine, apart from bits and bats, I recently moved out and asked for my deposit back and they came up with all sorts of problems I had left, the problems were already there when I moved in, any one renting a property off them must go through the place with a fine tooth comb and make a note of everything in front of the agent so you are not charged for it at a later date, I lost nearly all my deposit, I got £18 back, totally robbed, will never use them again, they don't care about the tenants, stay away

The worst experience ever!! Leeds

The worst experience ever!!! Since I moved to the property, there was so many problems!! The water was leaking through the windows, I had no hot water for 3 weeks! For them to fix something it was taking ages because “landlord was disappearing somewhere” The washing machine was broken for a month so I had to use public laundry where they’ve paid for it but still it was very inconvenient! And for them to give my deposit back, took nearly a month. I won’t recommend.

I have been dealing with Elise in Lettings and she has been great. I have been looking for a short term flat rental and time was of the essence as a deadline loomed. Whilst Elise didn’t have anything suitable for me she checked in every week to see how my search was going and to remind me she was still looking out for me. It really helped calm me to know I wasn’t the only person searching. Thank you Elise. X

Good communications throughout and always prompt response to our enquiries. She really think on our behalf and We had a friend like feeling while engaging with her rather than as a sales agent... Definitely one to avoid for buying and selling

This agent was absolutely hopeless. I was trying to buy a property they were selling...but their communication was appalling and they made me feel like a nuisance. They didnt respond to emails and on the rare occasions their phones were answered they didn't return calls. In the end I resorted to going in person to their office where I would have to wait ages and was often then met with a blank look and confusion. They seemed to want to do very little for their commission and several times tried to pass parts of their job on to my solicitors. From my point of view, as a buyer, they were inefficient, slow and seemed to have a poor understanding of the process of selling a house.....I think they did a really poor job for the vendors too.Perhaps they are brilliant at lettings?Certainly not one to buy or sell property through!

What a bunch of unprofessional amateurs. I think they must make it up as they go along, no confidence in anything they say, give inaccurate information and cause a lot of aggravation for others in the chain.
