Overall it was good, but I would have appreciated more if some one from letting agent would have contacted me directly re 1 day of extra rent rather than dispute.I cancelled my standing order, but my 1 month notice included 1 extra day.

Overall, I've had a very negative experience with Braemore/DJ Alexander. Over the years, I've had to deal with a troublesome tenant and a few Braemore personnel (who all probably now work for DJ Alexander), who are only sometimes willing to help and take weeks to carry out a process. My family has had a particularly horrible experience due to a Braemore personnel who was dishonest, signed agreements on our behalf and kept this information from us for years. Due to these personnel, we were only able to gain access to our property about 1 year after we initially asked their help. However, my most recent experience with the last DJ Alexander personnel I met was very positive. She was easily the best personnel I've met so far. She helped me through a very long and difficult process to end my business with DJ Alexander. Although there were very long discussions/arguments, I felt honesty and patience from a personnel for the first time. These long discussions were carried out, because she was attentive. When I wrote an email, it would usually take only hour/s for a reply and I have written a couple or a few emails almost everyday for the past month (with several long phone calls). She had even relayed my horrible past experience to her superiors and I've felt heard after years.

We work with DJ Alexander's maintenance team and find them to be very efficient and professional. In particular we work closely with the End of Tenancy Maintenance Department (Lisa, Angie, Amy, Sophie and Katie). They are easy to communicate with and genuinely seem to have their tenants and Landlords best interests at heart.

Sophie, the End Of Tenancy Property Manager, has been extremely helpful and professional in managing the exit of the current tenant and preparing for the new one. A new tenant has been found very quickly, so that's all appreciated and I'd rate 5 stars.Regarding the day-to-day, I do find the tracking system for issues to be frustrating and some of the responses regarding quotes take longer than I think they could, but the people I'm working with are friendly and helpful.

Caroline was my first point of contact right from securing the property during one of the busiest times in Glasgow's rental chaos to ending my tenancy a year and a half later. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the property and appreciate your assistance during my tenancy. I must highlight that my time at the property was peaceful, and I had no major repairs or maintenance issues during my stay. + Staff at DJ Alexander such as Laura Mctaggart were very accommodating of the unique circumstances of my viewings eand questions.+ Holding deposit to contract was very rapid.- Tenancy referencing was using a external company called goodlord. It was quite laggy so I suspect it made an api call to a server then waited for a response for every possible user input instead of handling logic via a headless form like most people would.
