TrustpilotGreat service
I'm a landlord and DJ Alexander has been helping me with the change of tenant. Kirsten from their checkout team has been great. She emailed me the report on the Monday after the tenant left on the Friday and responds to emails promptly.
Thanks for the great review and we are happy to help. I will make sure to pass this back onto the team

TrustpilotTerrible
Terrible. Was applying for a flat in Edinburgh. A John Sturgeon sent me an application form which I returned (ID, bank statements etc) never to be heard from again. Sent a follow up email - still nothing. That was over a month ago. Complete and utter waste of time.

TrustpilotGreat but has room for improvement
It was 5 stars due to professionalism and the fast response from Ms. Sandie Whyte and Ms. Galina Webster during the pre-tenancy. However, some issues at the beginning of the tenancy need more than 5 weeks to resolve (no water, no hot water). One star down with that, hope can be improved in the future.
Hi, Thanks for the great feedback. I will make sure to pass this onto the team. Kind regards, Richard Tierney

TrustpilotThank you Imran and Galina
I have so much praise for Imran Iqbal and Galina Webster of DJ Alexander. They helped me do all that was needed to secure a property and without them I would still be stumbling along. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with either of them will understand what I’m saying. Thank you both, I was feeling very overwhelmed before you came along.
Thanks for the great review and we are happy to help. I will make sure to pass this back onto the team

TrustpilotVery helpful staff
I have mostly dealt with Cara Jenkins who has shown nothing but patience and kindness to me and guided me through the tenant application. I also have dealt with Galina and Imran who both have been very helpful so I cannot fault.
Thanks for the great review and we are happy to help. I will make sure to pass this back onto the team

TrustpilotDJ Alexander let us live with mould for almost 3 years
Throughout my tenancy I consistently reported a major leak coming from our roof/ ceiling. Initially, DJ Alexander did nothing of substance about this. Later, they tried to blame us for the damp. Then they sent the cheapest contractors over, who did nothing to fix the leak. Finally, they tried painting over the black mould, despite me saying that the leak was not fixed. Finally, when they realised they had let the situation run to the point of being structurally dangerous to the building, they asked us to leave and find new accommodation. This agency isn't just bad for tenants: the owner of the property will now need to pay tens of thousands more, all because DJ Alexander refused to take our reports seriously.I would advise all landlords to leave this company immediately. There are several other competitors, and I have never had any issues with these.

TrustpilotThe worst letting agency on earth
The worst letting agency going. Impossible to get hold of, refer you to an online site that doesn't get updated and doesn't work. Completely and utterly useless and get away with it because there is a million people applying to each flat. I hope they go into insolvency and have to give up all their properties.

TrustpilotDon't bother cleaning before you leave, they'll try to scam you anyway
We rented one of their properties for four years, not having problems with them in all that time (probably because we didn't need to contact them very often). Before we vacated the property at the end of July 2022, we spent £400 on a cleaning company to make sure we'd get our deposit back. They came to us a week later telling us that the skirting was dirty (which it was, shame on the cleaners!) and telling us we'd have to pay for it. One month later, they show up with an invoice that says they cleaned the whole property and ask us to pay it, and when we tell them we think we should pay a proportional part of it since we had already paid for a full cleanup, they come at us with a different invoice for £150 that doesn't even list what they did and tell us we have to pay that instead! It's February now and we are still arguing about this, we should have just left the house uncleaned and let them deduct the money from our deposit, would have saved lots of headaches and they wouldn't have had the chance to try and make us look like fools.

TrustpilotWe are thankful to them
We are thankful to them Staff members were so helpful. We felt like we were working with our best friend rather than a real estate agent.( lauryn, Christin, Ashley). They made the whole process feel easy. The amount of effort and time they put into walking me through the process is unbelievable. I would trust them with my eyes closed and their attention to detail and level of time/dedication to their clients is outstanding. Finally we found our dream house thanks alot again ( Parvinder Singh ,Kiranjot kaur)

TrustpilotAwful Letting Agency
Renting from DJ alexander is awful! The communication is terrible, no contact numbers for any issues, only an online form that takes ages to get any response. We have been without heating or hot water for 3 weeks and still no further forward on when this will be repaired with zero communication and no way of contacting them. We have reported things in the past that just go unanswered. For paying high rent it is just unacceptable!
