GoogleWe can't thank James and Abby enough for everything they did to help us sell our flat. From start to finish, they made what could have been a really stressful experience feel so much more manageable. They were always incredibly quick to come back to us with answers, talked us through anything we weren't sure about, and never made us feel like we were asking too many questions. That reassurance meant a lot, especially during the more uncertain parts of the process. As well as being professional and knowledgeable, they were genuinely friendly and approachable. A bit of humour and a reassuring chat at just the right time went a long way, and it made the whole experience feel much more personal. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thank you both!

GoogleStephen was friendly and knowledgeable from our first telephone conversation. He visited my property and answered all my questions about both sales and lettings. He expected that my flat would sell quickly and was right! It was on the market within 5 days of dropping off the keys and I had an offer within 24 hours of the first viewing. There was great communication every step of the way from Kaiya and Abby as well as Stephen. Would highly recommend their services to anyone selling.

GoogleSteven at this branch was awesome. Yes the automated last minute cancellations by the website are awful for viewings, I had 2 booked with a 4 hour drive staying over the day prior..only for them to be rented before the planned viewing (why wouldn’t it just be a group one?) Back to Steven though, he went out his way at the branch on my situation and helped guide me on which might be good for a close viewing but also a few area pointers and tips for the online process. He didn’t have to do that, but overall people are nice just working with a system that needs work

GoogleI would urge anyone looking to rent in Edinburgh to stay clear of DJ Alexander. Flat inspections are pointless as no one cares when you complain that the property is cold, draughty and not weather proof...we requested help for 4 years and only when we threatened to go to Citizens Advice, did the job get approved...which still took 4 months. Their maintenance team attend the property and "fix" your issues but leave other damage to walls and surfaces, which you are then charged for when you leave. Oh and they like to add extra days on your moving out period...hand your notice in, FACE TO FACE otherwise they add 3 days on to your notice, just squeezing another bit of money out of you, because they can. Avoid!

GoogleAvoid renting with them if you can! Did not fix a major hole in my wall with water damage leaving the room cold, damp, and debris constantly falling for two years despite repeated follow ups and calls. Cleaned out and scrubbed down the flat before leaving with video proof but they still took a chunk of our deposit for cleaning regardless. Terrible communication while moving out. Had to email everyone and anyone we could reach to get some semblance of answers that wasn’t a template.
