TrustpilotSmooth Tenancy Execution
Ellie McVitie (property manager) & Abigail thornburn (tenancy progressor) were super helpful & easy to reach out & I always received prompt response from them. Renting process is much smoother with DJ Alexander once you get shortlisted by the landlords its the main reason why it stands out from other agencies in the mkt.

GoogleEven one star is not worth. They charge you for reference check (not legal). Before moving in the property, they have not checked the status and now charges me for mould that already generated by previous tenants. They will charge you £500 off of your deposit when you move out. Total garage non sense company.

GoogleSo viewed a hovel with them, spam emails all day long and no option to opt out. Insistence on viewing on their terms on their times using their system. They clearly don’t care about gdpr compliance so what else don’t they care about

TrustpilotA chance of tenancy and renovation work
I had a change of tenancy for my flat recently. While the flat was being shown to the prospective tenants by D J Alexander, I undertook organising a lot of renovation work for the flat myself. Brandon Wiseman was quick to find a new tenant for my flat. He also helped me by adjusting the time period for the work to be carried out properly, before the new tenant could come in. I found Brandon extremely helpful and approachable at every step and wish him well in his career.
Thank you, Mira, for this excellent review. We will pass this onto Brandon and the Team.

TrustpilotFrom Satisfaction to Frustration: Poor Service and Communication at DJ Alexander
We were initially very satisfied with the services provided by Tay Letting. However, our experience took a significant turn for the worse when operations transferred to DJ Alexander. Problems arose when our long-term tenant vacated the property. The end-of-term report failed to include substantial repair expenses, which could have cost us hundreds of pounds. When I raised this issue with the agent, they challenged the photographic evidence I provided. Only after persistent efforts on my part was I able to secure the appropriate compensation. Communication throughout this process was appalling, with a complete lack of urgency and responsiveness from DJ Alexanders representative.

I think Ruth Woodcock at DJ Alexander's deserves some praise. Trying to buy a property can be stressful and disappointing at times, but Ruth was very helpful and accommodating with viewings arranged quickly and conveniently, rapid responses to calls and emails. Couldn't have asked for a better service so thank you so much from a very happy customer! :)
