GoogleThey don't appear to want to rent any of the properties they're advertising. We've looked at 8 different properties. The only way to book a viewing is online. Each time you have to filled in 3 pages of information to find out that there is almost no availability to book a viewing. Usually a single 15min window some time in the next 3 weeks. For quite a few of them is no availability, even though the property is apparently available now. If you ring them up they are utterly unhelpful and rudely tell you to use the website. I don't know why anyone would chose to place their property with an agent which makes it incredibly hard to view any of the properties they are advertising.

GoogleLeft my wallet and keys in flat. Said I had to pay 20 quid to cover flat spares if lost.... didn't have wallet, then wouldnt give me the spares for "security" I suppose of 20 pounds... bit annoying they wouldnt let me in for 20 quid 😂. Waited till flat mate went home which was. Good amount of time. Nobody helpful in that office. "Security reasons" was the reason given, but apparently mo security issues if I had 20 quid... idk seems silly.

GoogleThankfully, we won the dispute - beware of this agency! They attempted to deduct a significant amount from our deposit for unnecessary cleaning. When we expressed our intention to go through the dispute process, they were clearly trying to intimidate us. Be warned: This agent clearly favours the landlord’s side and conducts biased, inaccurate inventory checks. If you are renting through them, document everything meticulously - you will need it.

GoogleShould be a ZERO star option. Been waiting for viewing for 30mins, no one showed up. It turns out the property has been taken off. What is the point to send viewing confirmation messages and emails.

GoogleFantastic service throughout the sale of our flat. They were always available to take a phone call and offer reassurance and managed to get out flat sold within out time frame. Our sales agent Sarah was so helpful and offered excellent advice on little changes we could make to help with our sale.

GoogleNothing says parasite like DJ Alexander. Everyone says this, (nobody has a choice but to rent with them as they’ve sucked up most of the smaller letting agents) but run from these people. I’ve been with one other agency while living in this city and never had a problem, the minute I switched to DJ it was hell. One person in the company had a contact number for the landlord that worked. One. So when our property was filled with rats, and mould, and a boiler that had broken, nobody could get the landlord on the phone. And if the landlord breaks your tenancy agreement? Well don’t worry, DJ will always be on their side and even ensure that they can evict you under false guises. Try your hardest to not go with this company as you will have a diabolical time of it. In our property, we’re the longest standing tenants in the past 5 years and we’ve only been there 14 months! Raised our rent by the maximum allowed down to the pennies. We had one decent person in that entire company ring us up and apologise for the way our LANDLORD breaching the tenancy agreement had been handled. And deposit? What deposit? They fleece you for it all, lie about the inventory and no matter what efforts you make to clean, including hiring a professional cleaner, they’ll try to snatch up that deposit with clutching hands. Maybe they’re fine if you’re a landlord, but if you’re a tenant just know they are not on your side. Just do yourself a favour and avoid.

GoogleI was their contractor for three years "cleaning services". It was the worst experience in my life and work. Invoices for services performed were never paid on time according to the agreement, and several of them are not to this day. Constant requests and stress related to this to pay invoices on time caused the pressure to cause a silent heart attack in me. I am currently recovering, waiting for payment of overdue invoices. Lately, even DJ Aleksander does not reply to my correspondence.

GoogleGreat service all round. E-mails were promptly answered and engaging sub contractors to deal with issues arising on selling our flat were seamless. Nothing was a problem and we felt very confident with leaving things to the agent. In particular Sarah McIntyre lead her team very efficiently. If we find ourselves in a similar position, ie a flat to sell, we would certainly use DJA.... so should you. Dave C

GoogleThey have a completely illogical and ridiculous policy. For individuals who have just arrived in the country and have not lived here for six months, they require a six-month rent payment (in addition to a 1.5-month deposit). Alternatively, they request that you provide a guarantor, even though you do not know anyone in this new country. It truly makes no sense, and they offer no assistance whatsoever.
