GoogleDJ Alexander have recently been requested to let out my property in Cruden Bay. A tenant has been immediately secured and the rental rate has been increased substantially as a result of the recent loft conversion. GoogleWaste of time literally. Don’t bother your hole if you actually want to get moved. Downright rude and unprofessional. No contact from them at all more than 3 weeks after a viewing. Parasitic agents.

GoogleAvoid them like the plague. My only regret in leaving this review is that Google doesn’t allow fewer than one star. They were once a decent bunch back when they went by Tay Lettings. Then came DJ Alexander to what seems to be a social experiment in how low the bar can go. The Byres Road office, in particular, deserves special recognition for redefining the word hapless. Delays, radio silence and a level of incompetence that would almost be impressive if it weren’t so costly, as I ended up losing thousands of pounds thanks to their “management.” Consistency, however, is one of their strengths. Right to the bitter end, they stayed true to form sending an overcharged invoice, contradicted by their own contract, followed by complete silence when questioned and then, naturally, sent a revised invoice straight to the solicitors. Never change, old friend. To anyone considering using DJ Alexander: just put down the phone, take a few slow steps back and once you’re at a safe distance, run! Or if you hate sound management, effective communication and honesty, I’ll be happy to share my referral code.

GoogleThey’re posting properties that are not on their list and do not exist as bait. That’s disgraceful.

GoogleSome staff, when communicating, can barley write English. How some of the 'agents' got to work on client facing roles is beyond me. Hope DJ ask for a few examples. Shocking...!

GoogleI've just sold my flat through DJ Alexander and couldn’t recommend them more highly. Yasser and his team were brilliant throughout - always easy to get hold of and went above and beyond to help resolve a few issues along the way. Yasser’s friendly and personal approach made the whole process a pleasure and everything felt smooth and relatively stress-free. Huge thanks to him and the team for such a professional and supportive service!

GoogleThis review is from David Hall, using his wife’s Gmail a/c, as he doesn’t have a Gmail a/c of his own! DJ Alexander has just sold our daughter’s flat in Edinburgh. From start to finish the service received from Yasser, Leandra and the remainder of the team was exemplary. Yasser, in particular, made excellent suggestions on how the flat should be presented in preparation for marketing and throughout the sale process there were regular updates on progress. It was always possible to speak to someone at the company and there were prompt replies to queries. It was a real pleasure dealing with the staff who carried out their duties with confidence, professionalism, politeness and efficiency. There were a couple of occasions when the staff dealt with problems beyond the call of duty and I thank them for that. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DJA to anyone wishing to sell a property.

GoogleStephen Lawson at DJA is absolutely brilliant. He supported me through the latter part of a my landlord responsibilities and the subsequent sale of my flat. He was so easy to deal with - incredibly knowledgable, always available and brought a human side to everything he did. If I needed an estate agent in Edinburgh again, I'd call Stephen first. Bravo!

GoogleI recently went for a flat viewing in Edinburgh with Elliot, and he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was punctual, friendly, and really knowledgeable about the property and the local area. Elliot took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and made the whole process feel relaxed and straightforward. It’s clear he genuinely cares about finding the right place for his clients. I came away feeling very well-informed and confident about the property. I’d definitely recommend Elliot to anyone looking for a professional and personable agent in Edinburgh!

GoogleI finally have a rented flat of my own. As a student, it isn't easy to get one. I’m especially grateful to Caroline Connelly, who supported me at every stage of the application process.

GoogleI rented an apartment with DJ Alexander for two years and had an excellent experience. The staff were always professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. Any issues or repairs during my tenancy were resolved very quickly, usually within just a few days. Special thanks to Jenny (I hope I got her name right), who handled a misunderstanding at the time of my move-out with great professionalism and empathy, even when I was quite emotional about the situation. Also thanks to Robbie, who promptly fixed a heating issue. I received my full deposit back without any problems, which I really appreciate. Overall, I’m very grateful to the whole DJ Alexander team and wish the company continued success!
