I viewed a property to rent at quite short notice. The flat had only just appeared on the market, and I managed to arrange a viewing through DJ Alexander the next afternoon. I met with Colin the property manager, who was professional and helpful in answering all the questions I had about the flat. He was quick in responding to my emails after viewing the flat.

TrustpilotAvoid like the plague - ignore the negative reviews at your peril!
I am absolutely horrified to read the reviews from other tenants and landlords, had I seen them before I would never have rented a property through DJ Alexander. Without question the worst estate agent in the UK, bar none. Completely unprofessional and cynical, their customer service is diabolical or, more accurately, non-existent.Calls go unanswered (they screen their calls so purposely don't pick up when they see your number). Emails go unanswered. Voicemails are never returned. Their attention to detail is zero. You have to chase incessantly to get anything done and even then the response is slap dash, at best, and does not address all the issues raised. At the end of our tenancy the checkout report they produced was a work of fiction worthy of the Booker Prize. They cynically hold on to your deposit while attempting to find spurious reasons to keep hold of it. I am seriously considering reporting them to TPO Scotland as I believe they are in direct contravention of the Letting Agent Code of Practice.

TrustpilotAbsolutely shocking
Do not rent a property from these jokers. It will be rife with issues and you will have to endlessly chase to get them sorted out. The worst rental experience I’ve ever had by a distance.

TrustpilotAgent did not come to the meeting
Agent simply did not come to the meeting to show the advertised flat as they couldn't find the key (or at least that's what I was told). I was notified only 20 min before the meeting.

TrustpilotDo not trust this company and do not…
Do not trust this company and do not rent from them. I rented a flat in Glasgow. The condition when I got it was appalling. It took me 2 solid days to clean the flat prior to moving in. I e mailed them regarding this and had no feedback. 4 months later when I moved out and I was charged over £100 for the cleaning of the property. I tried to get explanations for being given a dirty flat and then was charged for cleaning it even though it was left 100% cleaner than it was received. An employee called Chris was one of the most useless individuals that I have had the experience of dealing with. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OUT OF POCKET
