GoogleFrom first looking for a suitable flat to securing our property, Hayden from the Greenwich team was extremely helpful. Hayden was quick to reply to any queries, kept us updated with the progress of our offer and was always willing to answer any questions we had. The additional support we have had from the rest of the Conran team since securing our flat has been great, and we would recommend them.

GoogleI wandered into the Greenwich High Street branch after a disappointing viewing with another agent, on the offchance they had something that would suit our requirements. They were immediately friendly and helpful, took all my details and the next day Evie sent us through details of several places which were perfect matches. She was able to arrange for us to view all of them in a single afternoon slot, met and showed us around herself and had the information at hand to be able to answer all our questions. Really great, friendly service and I would definitely use them again.

GoogleThey are most rubbish estate you would come across. I had viewed a property with them and accepted the offer , submitted my documents to them and spoke to them 4 times. They still kept me in dark and at the end they accepted someone else offer. Do not believe everything they tell you, they are bunch of liers and cheaters. They are geniune at all with their dealings. What a waste of time and space. I will be telling all my friends and family my bad experience with these idiots.
Dear Shan, I responded below (in brackets) but did not hear from you but I have now got to the bottom of your issue. Your wife had all dealings with us and spoke to our team member, Sam, about the property in question. She asked Sam if there was any other interest at the time of viewing to which Sam confirmed there was. At no point did your wife offer on the property and nor did she say that she was interested during the viewing. But in Sam's absence, she did drop in ID requirements the next day. Simultaneously, a formal offer was received from other applicants which the landlord chose to accept. Therefore I cannot accept your review as being factual as you didn't offer on the property and we certainly have not "lied" nor "cheated" as we were completely transparent that there was another interest in this property. I hope this clears up the confusion and wish you well with your property hunt. GoogleSo far Conran Estates have been excellent, a different league to Purplebricks who I was using before. Tenants were found quickly and also a number of issues with the property were quickly addressed. Renting out my flat has been much less stressful since I changed management company to Conran!

GoogleOur experience with Conran has been a very pleasant one; made moreso by the very professional customer service we received from Erika (Eltham branch) right from the very first time we met her for the property viewing. She was very patient and answered all our questions with a smile on her face. Even when the process moved beyond her team, she continued to be very helpful whenever we contacted her to seek clarity - without seeing us as a bother!. Thank you!

GoogleWould be 0 for this horrible company. A few years ago when living in London, I looked for a flat with my gf at the time, from looking at a reasonable flat we spoke about money. I mentioned I could pay a few months in advance because I did need to move in quickly if that could help. From there they decided that I would have to pay a full year on the flat, going over £12,000. I responded that I didn't want to give them that amount and tried to talk on the few months for a deposit. They stuck with a full year and told me to go elsewhere if they weren't getting it. I find it horrible that they would do this to a customer, and be so rude to not have a proper conversation about it and just got money hungry. If I could remember the woman's name I would ask anyone not to speak with her, unfortunately I do not so suggest anyone to leave this Estate Agency well alone and go with anyone else. I didn't take this rediculous deal, and quickly found somewhere else to live in the area by a trusted company. Update to their Reply: Hello, Yes it was about 3 years ago, though going through your ordeal put me in a very stressful lifestyle I have now got out of. I was thinking at the time of possible methods to inform you of the terrible service but alas I thought having a review here, it shall at least be seen and you'll know about it. From the 'potential transaction' after you said I would have to pay for a full year, there was none and I stated clearly there wouldn't be for the crazy amount you were asking. Generally speaking because I asked if it was possible to move within a month, I didn't mind paying a higher deposit. No one I have ever known would pay that much on a deposit, I would get a morgage instead. During the chat I may mention that you talked from the company, not the landlord or reference process, as well as myself privately talking about the amount of money which was meant to be kept private (obviously was not). in the end it just seemed like you were getting money hungry with zero talk on the matter. To others I have asked to avoid you, to future people that see this, don't mention anything about money, the moment they sniff it they will try to take it from you. A fool and their money.... These people shouldn't be trusted.
Dear Mr Fox-Noble. Firstly I am sorry that your experience was not a positive one. I can assure you that we are very much a trusted company in the area. We note that your contact with us was three years ago (in 2015) so are very surprised to see this review now and that it wasn't addressed at the time of potential transaction? Whilst we are not at liberty to publish specifics on this proposed transactions, we can speak generally. We use a referencing company who are highly comprehensive when it comes to tenant acceptance and their due diligence processes. We want to ensure that our tenants are of top quality and this has been proven as our rent arrear rate currently stands at 0% - which is unheard of in the industry! We are not saying that you are not a quality tenant but the referencing company would have recommended a 12-month rental advance and this would have been put to forward to our landlord as per our procedure policy. In this case, we would have assumed that the landlord would have insisted that we abide by the reference company's recommendation. With the landlord being our client then, as mediators, we can only follow their instructions. We are sorry the final outcome was not a positive one for you.

GoogleIt was awful to have to deal with them. We were pressured to sign the contract and then purposely given wrong information. We have met the previous tenants and they had the same issues we had as well. The house was in a bad condition, in a few months it started smelling like mold and air was flowing through the windows all the time (this was annoying during the summer, but it got particularly painful to deal with during winter). We had passive aggressive emails sent to us and once we got forwarded (by mistake) the email of another client that was still dealing with their issues 2 years after they had moved out! I am only giving it 2 stars because at least they got someone to deal with leaks from the ceiling and to fix the oven after it broke down.
Thank you for posting a review. It is important that we deal with tenants in a professional manner and therefore if you could let me have the address of your property I would like to fully review this property and understand where we could have failed in order to put this right for future tenants?

GoogleAll good, and this is why: All the while I was doing my flat up to sell, Michael at Charlton office was happy to pop in and advise. I put it on the market, and straight away had two viewings and an offer. I pulled out for personal reasons, but when they put it up again, they immediately found a buyer. Throughout the process, if I needed to just talk through things I did not understand, I could pick up the phone and ask daft questions, and they always helpful. One agent helped with a second visit from a buyer, and he was able to knowledgeably answer all sorts of questions that I could not (e.g. the buyer's finance, leasehold etc. For the sake of contrast, I am now buying and find the bigger agents seem permenantly in a rush. In reflection, it seems to me that their Charlton office is a case of "Small is beautiful'. To sum up, they looked out for my interest :-) PS/ When a storm blew the For Sale sign down to half mast, they must have seen it because it was quickly made good again. I call that 'professional attention to detail'.

Rob was so professional,kind and helpful with all our worries and questions most of them bit silly 😄 we are first time buyers he make as to fill so relax and so easy to do that step . GoogleI am a first time buyer and Abbie Kendall is the person who helps me with the house purchase. Abbie is very friendly and was always very quick to respond to any quearies I had. I absolutely appreciate that Abbie was very specific towards the timelines I should expect within that purchase and set my expectations straight, which for me was extremely important. I am still finalising the purchase, however I feel pretty confident with Abbie, that she will contact me straight away if there will be any delay and will do her very best to sort out any obstacles that may come our way. I believe Abbie is a trainee and I do feel she is putting extra effort to do everything right and goes extra mile to do her job well, very often people with loads experience lacking that enthusiastic attitude and to deal with Abbie is like a breath of fresh air. I mainly dealt just with Abbie, however few times when she was not available and I had to speak with other staff member, I found all of them very friendly and supportive. I would go ahead with the agency without any doubt :)

GoogleThis is the first time while I have gone through an agency to rent out a house in UK. Conran did made a smooth ride for me. Robert in particular went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. Since I am the first timer he listened to my problem , questions and concern and did addressed them patiently and effectively . I mainly dealt with Rob, however few times when he was not available and I had to speak with other staff member, I found all of them very friendly and supportive. Thank you Conran for all the help.
