The real differentiating factor (compared to other lettings agents) is that from start to finish everything that we have agreed on have been respected throughout the whole renting process (removal of items from the property, cleaning standards, timeline, etc.). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYChase Buchanan Bath recently took over several properties from Fidelis. They have cost me a lot of money through mis- management.1. telling a decorator they could trash the carpets because they had got quotes for replacement. They had been told I was planning to keep most of the carpets.2. paying invoices when the work was incomplete and poorly done without checking contractors work3. losing inventories so the tenants moved out taking all the door furniture from the kitchen - not challenged at check out4. not passing on forwarding details so I can go to the county court for unpaid rent.5. Using poor contractors- repeatedlyTheir team leader thinks she can manage property maintenance in Bath while working from home in Worcester with kids screaming and running about in the background. The rest of the time she is 'in a meeting' so is very difficult to speak to and the people answering the phones are clueless, not even knowing what city you are despite calling the Bath number.Find another Agent.

Beware Landlords: Chase Buchanan Refuse to release tenant IDs to Landlord

Chase Buchanan recently purchase Fidelis in Bath. An estate agent I used back since 2015 with great pleasure.Fidelis was well run, with excellent staff.Recently they have been taken over by Chase Buchanan of the Campions group.I used their let only service recently to relet my property, and have been astounded by their incompetence.It is frankly dangerous to landlords.Chase Buchanan have to the date of this review not provided IDs for the tenants they have moved into my property, nor the inventory.This makes it impossible for me to:1. claim against any future damage as it cannot be demonstrated2. claim against any person as they cannot be identified.Furthermore, I cannot now demonstrate the tenants have right to rent in the UK as Chase Buchanan are refusing to provide documents from the tenants that identify them.This was after taking 3 months to relet the central bath property.I urge fellow landlords to look elsewhere following this merger.
