I have both purchased and sold four properties through Chase Buchanan and until very recently also rented a flat via their services. Since 1996 I have called upon their knowledge and expertise and at no time been disappointed. I have dealt with the Twickenham, Hampton Hill and Teddington offices and have always found them helpful, professional, courteous , but also retaining a sense of both calmness and humour throughout what is often a stressful time . A series of errors

After completing the contract, the company realised they had failed to include the correct rent cost. We therefore had to redo the entire process in order to correct this. Our request to inspect the property before moving was agreed to, however Chase Buchanan failed to contact the current tenant, causing the viewing to have to be moved when we discovered this on the day of the anticipated viewing.Request for payment of the deposit was incorrectly sent in parts to multiple people, causing us to have to, again, resolve this error months later once they eventually noticed that the total amount paid was incorrect.Finally, the request for review redirects negative reviews to a feedback form rather than trustpilot in order to deceptively retain a higher score, with the option to instead provide a review hidden in small text beneath the feedback form.In general, the staff were pleasant, however I recommend anyone who uses their services pay close attention to proactively identify their errors.

BEWARE, renters! The agent, Jack in St. Margarets lied to me at the showing of the flat. I am amending my previous 5-star review to reflect the reality that ensued after what I thought was a positive experience. The agent, Jack, sold the rental as "no electric bills", along with other conditions on the flat. Upon my first electric bill, I called their office to inquire, and Trish was curt and abrasive in telling me that it's my fault for signing with these terms. Indeed, this was a detail I overlooked among the stack of pages. I would never have signed had I noticed the misrepresentation. Of course they will not be held accountable for making up selling points on the spot and putting people in between a rock and a hard place once they have moved in. I left as soon as possible -- I did not renew the lease.

Professionalism Perfection!

As an ex-estate agent myself and having worked in agency for 25+ years, I cannot recommend Chase Buchanan enough. From the first meeting to discuss the value of the property to the date of completion, they were absolutely fantastic. Their valuation was accurate, they gave me feedback that viewings were booked, reminded on the day of the viewing and then gave feedback on the viewing every single time. We got the property under offer which subsequently fell through and they managed to get it back under offer within 48 hours. The best agents I have ever dealt with in all of my years of buying and selling, they work hard and are always highly professional. I want to mention David Casey, Kim Green and Steve Crane as if you deal with any of these three individuals you are in excellent hands.
