Getting my rental flat prepared for remarking following refurbishments between tenants and reducing any void period and any unwanted cost was made far easier thanks to the personal attention by Jo and the wider team at Charters in Winchester. I have been having to navigate the waters of letting on behalf of my mother, and have no idea what I am doing! All the Charters staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and understanding of my situation, and Kirsty has been extremely helpful to me in advising how to deal with slightly tricky end of tenancy issues. She was always reassuring and I felt absolutely confident that she knew how to handle the process and give me sound advice, always happy to look over emails I needed to send etc. I can't recommend her highly enough!

As a landlord we used Charters to find a tenant for our Winchester property. Charters' office in Wonchester found suitable tenants and negotiated rent to our satisfaction. Adel managed the references, tenancy agreement, deposits, inventory and initial rent and provided an excellent service. At each stage she kept us up to date by email or telephone which meant the process progressed smoothly. Her helpful emails were well written and concise, keeping us informed at each stage of the process. On the telephone, Adel has excellent communication skills and is always helpful and positive.. Adel is efficient agent with high standards and excellent communication skills.

My house had been empty for several weeks, I then asked John (Charters) to assist and despite other agents informing me that there was no interest currently, John made the calls and arranged 3 viewings for that weekend. Tracey and the team at Charters operate a very professional and slick lettings department. Despite not yet having a presence within Romsey they beat two other well established Romsey letting agents with, I have to say, little competition. They had numerous viewings, updated me regularly and more importantly found the ideal tenants. The paperwork all done by e-mal and electronic signatures is total efficiency. Why all agents do not offer this heaven knows. Thank you for all your help. James. L

Having read the high opinions of others who have dealt with Lisa Burdett, I should like to add my unreserved praise. So much of business life these days is actually unpleasant due to incompetence and disinterest. The exact opposite is true of Lisa who is thoroughly knowledgeable, conscientious, courteous, helpful, caring and positive. In my opinion, this lady holds the whole firm together and without her, Charters fortunes would be very much the poorer. Very well done and long may this situation continue !
