GoogleWe have had a great experience buying and selling through prospect. There have been some hurdles along the way but the prospect team were always extremely pro-active and responsive in their communication. Dan especially went above and beyond to secure us a buyer and ensure we didn't lose our purchase. He was supportive when it came to negotiations and provided realistic and honest advice. We had a great experience with Shaun also and Natasha who facilitated second and third visits to the property we were buying. A huge thank you to the prospect team for providing a real quality service!

GoogleWe had 3 agents round to discuss how to sell the house. Daniel at Castles gave us a different approach to the others which we liked. We instructed on the Saturday, it went on the market on Tuesday after they took photos etc because of the Bank Holiday (Monday). 6 couples booked a viewing on the following Saturday. 4 arrived and we had 2 offers on the Monday. We accepted the highest offer and completed in very short time, No fuss, no hassle, all good communication. Can't believe it and I am talking about an estate agent. How many excellent estate agents do you know? Well done Castles and Daniel and his team. All the best in choosing the right agent for you.

GoogleExtremely smooth and efficient buying process. First time buyers here and we were treated extremely well and helped at every stage of the way. Particular shout outs to Ed who showed us round the properties and to Dan who oversaw everything and was always on hand for any questions we needed answering. Can't recommend them highly enough!

GoogleGreat service from the team at Prospect. They have looked after two of my properties for many years now and I always get great service. Matt and Kelly are particularly helpful. Everything is well organised with detailed reports, and quick resolutions to any repair works or fixes by a good team of contractors. I would recommended them to any residential landlord.

GoogleWe were on the market for a while before switching to Castles, and they sold our flat within a month. They gave us handy hints to help sell the flat that we had not been made aware of before. They kept in contact with us as we worked out our next property, and remained polite and friendly throughout that process. When our first buyers dropped out of the sale, Dan, Ed and Melanie at Castles immediately snapped to action and worked incredibly hard. They put our flat straight back on the market, and rang around getting us five viewings in the next three days. We sold the flat again within a week of the previous buyers dropping out. I cannot thank the staff enough or say enough good things about them - they were supportive, friendly, reassuring, efficient, and did exactly what needed to be done to get us moving again. GoogleAs an ex sales and lettings negotiator and qualified MNAEA (Member of National Association of Estate Agents) I found the team from Castles Waltham Abbey to be far from what an agent should be. Throughout the transaction I was given inaccurate and dishonest information. When I challenged the agent to act in my best interest as they should, their response was rude, arrogant and as a result we ended up receiving late and reactive updates only on once a week basis to the point that I was forced to manage the entire transaction myself. Following an unsuccessful open day, the viewings were hosted by myself as the agent couldnt be bothered to attend. The final offer was also secured by myself. Unprofessional and only interested in commission; it has been over three weeks since we have completed and I have yet to receive any kind of thanks for the business or for doing their work for them. If you are looking for an advertisement only service, the team from Castles Waltham Abbey would be a great choice!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I'm sorry you felt us to be dishonest and rude, maybe it was our actual honesty, resulted in you feeling this way. For instance, you not being happy that the buyers mortgage offer was not released within 10 days of getting the offer agreed and us explaining to you the real reasons behind this and that 10 days is nothing to alarmed about. As we know, the mortgage offer came through in a standard time. I'm sorry you felt that providing you with updates once a week was not sufficient enough for you. I welcome you to pop into the office so that we can show you our sales progression where we continually acted on behind the scenes and I would welcome your suggestion as to how many times a week we should have updated you. In regards to us thanking you for your custom, I must remind you that I did this personally to you on the day of instruction. As you did not notify us that you were not to drop the keys to us on completion, unlike we advised to you in writing, that this is the best way to perform the key release, we did not get the chance to communicate our congratulations and gratitude to you (along with complimentary vouchers!) . I'm sorry you felt you had to manage part of the transaction yourself, may I remind you that on numerous occasions we tried to facilitate you and your solicitors to pass over the draft paper work to the buyers solicitors so that they could commence work, this taking one month for it to happen from your side from getting the offer agreed. We're just completing on a property purchase for which our legal team has been less than helpful throughout, however Daniel and Tom have kept us sane. They're always happy to help us chase things, they respond to emails very quickly, they always seem to know what's going on with the process and often have more accurate information than our solicitors. GoogleDaniel at Castles was extremely helpful during the whole process and he had a very calm manner which made me feel less stressed about the whole process during the sale of my flat. He was always able to answer any queries I had over the phone or via email the same day if not the same hour and if he didn’t know he went and sought the answer and got back to me straight away. I’ve heard many horror stories about selling properties with dodgey outcomes or processes but I can whole heartedly recommend Castles estate agents in Waltham Abbey and Daniel Tagliarini to make it as smooth as possible.
