We cannot praise David highly enough : helpful, discreet, sympathetic and above all professional. He bent over backwards to try to accommodate us = having lived all over the world, we are highly difficult to please. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Unfortunately, we were not able to purchase a property from Bournes but have since bought elsewhere, but throughout our experience with the company, we have only recommendations.

My experience with Sam was great start to finish. We first met during a viewing in which he was helpful and informative. From then on he was very supportive in making sure everything progressed smoothly with securing the rental. I have recently agreed to let a property of which the letting process is being managed by Bourne Estate Agents. The whole process so far with Bourne has been excellent. Steph Swainston (Lettings Consultant) provided a thorough brief on the property; was professional but friendly; very clear and articulate on all aspects of the property and its condition; the landlords expectations in relation to the legal and financial aspects of the let, informaton on the town Bordon and the area in general including everything from (Wifi speeds to flood risk survey, Council tax band, etc.). Her emails are very clear with direction for processing the let agreement. Overall a pleasantly refreshing engagement with an estate agency!

Unfortunately, I rented a flat from Bourne and had to leave just 4 months after moving in as I discovered through my own investigating that there was multiple safety requirements not met. When I raised this with Bourne they showed no urgency, understanding or concern. Like the landlord, it's clear they have no idea of the regulations put in place to keep people safe. They allowed me to rent the flat knowing it wasn't properly registered as a residential property, which meant I had no bin collections and was unable to get wifi without paying business rates. The landlord let me surrender the tenancy, I'd assumed this was so the work that needed to be done would take place but presumably not as the flat was re-let just a couple of weeks later. Overall a very disappointing experience, other than Elarose who seemed to be the only one with real compassion and prompt email responses.
