GoogleAyisha and her lettings team at Bourne Alton are outstanding. Ayisha has managed my Alton rental properties for years. She is always a pleasure to deal with, and nothing is too much trouble. I always have full faith that good tenants will be found for my properties, and Ayisha keeps me well informed during the process. Once the houses are let, I can be fully confident that both the houses and tenants will be well looked after by the Alton lettings team.

GoogleMy partner and I have rented 2 properties through Bourne. Both experiences have been very simple and the members of staff that we have engaged with have been fantastic. The first property we went directly to the landlord for support and occasionally spoke with Bourne if needing guidance or advice. Our current property is all through Bourne and has been simple and help. The team we have been working with are Molly, Ayisha and Sarah. Very helpful and supportive. We were kept informed throughout.

GoogleThe team at Bourne, particularly Jim, were excellent throughout the (long) process of selling my home. Jim was always quick to respond to phones calls and messages and was very proactive in dealing with the purchaser's mortgage broker and passing information on. I would definitely recommend them.

GoogleHaving moved overseas it was important to find an agency we could trust. I will simply say that without the whole team at Bourne by our side, it would have simply not happened. They managed our empty property, found the right short term tenant whilst also managing all the sale viewings. The communication was always open and honest with regular feedback, and they were all very responsive and professional keeping in regular contact with all parties and solicitors. We thank Andy and his whole team for the outstanding job, and for never giving up and pushing all the way to completion, 5 stars 100% deserved.

GoogleWe’ve now been waiting for Bourne to release our deposit for almost three months. They’re staff are so eager to quit that you talk to a different person each time you call (who just started and has no idea what they’re doing). It’s a shame when we first let from them they seemed to have it together but it’s all gone downhill. Run, don’t walk away from a Bourne-listed property or you’ll regret ever interacting with them.
Dear Brian, I am sorry to read this review, I have investigated the tenancy in detail plus spoken to our head of property management (Matthew Ware) to understand more. Looking into your tenancy I can see you actually moved out 7 weeks ago on the 1st September, so we are unclear where ‘three months’ comes from? As discussed with you, we always aim to release the deposit as soon as possible, however, this is dependent on discussions between yourself and the landlord regarding potential deductions coming to a successful conclusion. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) guidelines indicate that these discussions are able to take place for up to 3 months from the check-out date before the matter can be referred to the TDS, who will arbitrate on the dispute as an independent 3rd party. Throughout this process it is between yourself and your landlord to come to an agreement regarding deductions. Bourne can only release the deposit once this has been formally reached by both parties. I am sorry you feel that Bourne is at fault here, however, we can’t release the deposit until we receive an agreed instruction by both tenant & landlord. I understand our accounts department released the balance of your deposit yesterday, minus deductions you had agreed with your landlord so we hope this brings the matter to a close for you, however, if you have any further questions please feel free to contact Matthew. GoogleFrom the first contact all the way through to finding tenants for our property Bourne have been communicative, supportive and professional. Letting property can be a minefield, however, Bourne have made the process simple for us and done all of the heavy lifting. They found us great tenants quickly and are very responsive to any issues raised. I would highly recommend.
