GoogleAdrian from Bourne Estate Agents was very relaxed in his initial sales approach, never applying any undue pressure. His unique insight shone through when he suggested subtle adjustments to enhance the appeal of our home, something none of the other agents even considered. Jo effortlessly conveyed the details of the parking covenant to potential buyers. This was a great relief, as our previous agents' struggles to understand and communicate it effectively. Bourne's proactive approach, including the creation of drone footage and responsive promotion, injected fresh interest into our property, which had languished on the market for six months with other agents. Incredibly, our home sold within just three weeks, with an exchange completed in twelve. Throughout the process, Bourne, especially Rebecca, provided unwavering support. I often joked that Rebecca became my weekly therapist during moments of stress, as she was always there to reassure and guide us. When issues arose with the buyer's agent, Bourne went above and beyond to ensure the chain remained intact, exceeding their contractual obligations in the process. In contrast, the service provided by other agents fell far short. One agency had unreliable weekend staff who couldn't get the details right, while another was downright arrogant and dismissive. Looking back, we regret not choosing Bourne from the start. Their exceptional service, particularly Rebecca's caring and empathetic approach, deserves special recognition. We can't thank them enough for making the selling process a breeze.

GoogleLOW INTEGRITY AGENTS POOR SERVICE DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. Get everything in WRITING. They WILL LIE, and cheat you anytime they can. We rented a 4 bedroom house in Guildford through Bourne Estate Agents, for a two year lease, and were verbally told the garage was included. We were surprised to find out on check-in, that the garage was not included. Our agent, Katherine, LIED TO THE LANDLORD, saying that they negotiated a lower rent with us in exchange for excluding the garage from the Agreement. This is entirely false, there was never any discussion with us about a lower rent contingent on excluding the garage access. They just slipped it into the Agreement, and we sadly did not see it there, when signing. We also caught them lying on other points. We spoke with our agent, Katherine, one week before, and asked to move our check-in day from Monday to Tuesday. When Monday came, the agent lied to the landlord saying we just didn't show up. As a result, there was no plan to meet us at the property to check us in on Tuesday, and we had to fight to get someone to bring the keys on moving day, and let us into our new house! To top it off, they stopped answering my calls after I emailed them to complain about the issues. I will be reporting Bourne to the estate agent ombudsman, and will update this review as more information is available.
We are naturally disappointed to receive your review on our services and concerned with your experience with our Guildford branch. I believe the office and indeed the landlord are in regular communication with you to try and resolve your comments above, which we hope all parties find a suitable resolution as quickly as possible.

GoogleSam an Alex have been exceptional throughout our entire letting experience, clearly standing out from other popular estate agents. From my initial call to move-in day, the process has been consistent throughout. They were super helpful and readily available for advice and promptly responded to emails and calls, making the experience different from any other lettings agency I've dealt with before. It's a true testament to great management, and the team's willingness to go above and beyond was evident throughout.

GooglePatrick Fijalkowski of Bourne Estate Agents, Farnham is polite, fast, conscientious and professional. Although I couldnβt conclude my home search through him (because I happened to come across a better house listed by another estate agent at about the same time by chance), I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy professional agent who communicates and follows up well with you before during and after viewing. And one who wouldnβt bother to research and give me a detail technical breakdown of the costs and items of work involved in replacing the carpets by hardwood flooring for the viewed house. GoogleRenting a property in UK is not an easy task, especially if you try to do it remotely from abroad, as most agencies do not respond proactively or none at all. Bourne Estate Agents Guildford is different. Five-star service from start to finish; responsive, supportive, catering in details to customer's needs. Our agent is Ms. Kathryne Hopkins, she's a top person. Please keep up the good work. I would definitely recommend Bourne to others. Two thumbs up.

GoogleWe are really happy with the rental process provided by Bourne Estate Agents. Kathryne is very helpful and reply our queries promptly. When we asked for updated video of the rental place, Kathryne kindly went to extra miles to take and send us an updated video. All the process was done through online including deposit payments as we were outside of UK at that time and everything went smoothly. We were able to secure to rent a nice place which met our requirements even before arriving to UK and was able to start moving in at the requested date after arrival. Thank you!

GoogleThroughout the long and drawn out process of purchasing our new home, David Lowther has been a consummate professional. He has shown unfailing patience and support and was always there to answer questions or to follow up on the many issues which arose. Whilst the purchase itself was quite stressful, due to matters out of our control, David always did his best to help things along, keeping in regular contact, and being at the end of the telephone. We would like to thank him for his hard work over the last 7 months, as Iβm sure that without his input the purchase would have been even more stressful. As first-time landlords we needed a little more help and guidance which Sam and his team willingly provided no matter how many times we contacted them.
