Went to the chippenham site with my brother who wishes to purchase a Bloor house, after phoning several times, and getting nowhere on the phone, decided to go to the office on their open weekend, to get more information, the girls were very dismissive, saying you don't have an appointment, so what is an open weekend if not an open doors to everyone, my brother travelled from Leicester His purpose being to attend the open weekend they emailed him about, he explained to the girls he requires a plot number to give to Nick Bloor (John Bloors son) to arrange for an employee discount on buying one of Bloor Homes. The girls replied there were only two properties that he was interested in left on the site until the new spring development. when asked about those plots were told that there was no information and nothing they can do for us at this time on the new spring development, we were extremely disappointed in the attitude of a Bloor employee to another fellow employee that needed help

I used to live in the area and was visiting so thought I'd check out the new properties. The promotion seems a little optimistic about ease of public transport links and road access. The A31 in particular is more congested than London streets in the summer. On a positive note I really liked the architectural design of the houses and the established planting on corners and fronts, (not sure if this is part of the design) however there are far too many houses crammed into the space. It's a claustrophobic maze reminiscent of a holiday park. Households who need more than one car, (many in that area) must inconveniently park one behind the other rather than side by side. Gardens are tiny and the overall feeling in the middle of the estate seemed almost urban rather than rural and totally unsuitable for the area. My London street has a more open spacious aspect!

Friends of mine have just moved her to a brand new house. I have to say, its a lovely home. They have a 2 bedroom house which is ample for them. The garden is not huge so it's manageable, and the rooms are all of a tidy size. If i was ever to move to England or Amesbury to be more precise, i would definitely see if i could get one of these homes.

We have recently reserved a property at King's Gate and have been very impressed so far. We have part exchanged our current property and that is now on the market and we're getting ready to exchange contracts. Great service from Sophie and Lynda. Hopefully the rest of the process (building the house and moving in!) will be a straightforward and quick. Looking forward to making our new house our home.
