I used Black Katz as a rental agency to find and secure my first flat in London after moving from the United States. I had high hopes for this company after they successfully found me a lovely studio flat in the location I was interested in. Although I was horribly mistaken. The landlord I was in contact with throughout my year-long tenancy (as well as the agency itself) was irresponsible and unreliable. Emails were almost never answered in a timely manner and responses were voiced with disregard. I was forced to resolve any issues with the flat on my own, with my own money due to lack of assistance from the agency. When I moved out of the flat, there was no information given on what to do next without me inquiring first. I was bombarded with threats of loss of security deposit even after I reached out as a tenant to resolve altercations made to the flat during my tenancy. Along with other minor inconveniences and stress I was caused, I am overall extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism from the people I worked with at Black Katz agency . I wanted to write this review to inform people of what they may be getting into when using them to find property in London. If i could give negative stars, I would.

I've rent a flat that had a few issues which they should have checked and fixed before I move in, as the flat was already empty. Sometimes when you need to contact them about something you have to wait about a week just to get a reply.

Failed to provide me with keys in time. Was only able to access my apartment one week after beginning of the tenancy. Caused lots of trouble, additional cost and uncertainties for me. Very unfriendly personnel, would not recommend.

Jake was extremely helpful and friendly, also offered a great deal for the property we have just rented out. Morgan, was very quick and efficient with all the paperwork. We had everything done before the move in date. I can only recommend them, had a great experience!

gave us the wrong postcode for the house we signed, which caused us to waste loads of time trying to sign up for wifi for an address that doesn't exist. useless.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Rented for a flat in Steedman Street for a year. First of all, professional cleaning was still being carried out on the day of move-in. Agent was being super RUDE on the phone and asked me “so do you want a clean flat or not?”. It wasn't even cleaned properly and I found a used underwear under my mattress!! Two of the heaters were broken and NEVER FIXED till the day we move out! Please be careful when you rent, they would actually charge you for screws and damages that you did not make when you move out!! (Currently going through adjudication with third party to get our deposit back) Please please AVOID this agent at all cost unless you want to live in a cold room for the whole winter and getting paid for something you did not damage!!!!

Amazing service and quite lucky to met Sandro as well. He took us around few flats and never gave up after couple of offers didn’t go through. At the end we managed to find the perfect flat in Battersea and it has balcony as well! Thanks a lot Sandro and the Black Katz Team in London Bridge

We made an offer for a year contract with 6 month break clause, never told us some parts of the offer wasnt accepted like the breakclause but had already taken our deposit and more just general lack of basic competency from the whole estate agent.
