GoogleIf I could give zero stars, I would.
My partner and I recently bought a house through this company, and the process was smooth up until completion. After that, everything went downhill.
Our personal data was repeatedly shared with third parties without our consent. My partner was contacted by building companies about a property he has never lived in (a property my mum lives in) and was even informed that their rent would be increasing. He was also contacted regarding a Section 21 notice that was intended for my mum.
Each time they called, my partner clearly explained that he was not on the tenancy and had never lived at the property, yet the calls continued.
I gave the branch manager the opportunity to resolve the issue. She assured me it had been sorted, but on the very same day my stepdad received a text containing both mine and my partner’s personal information, information that has absolutely nothing to do with him.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. The ongoing data breaches from September until now are completely unacceptable and show a serious lack of care when handling personal information.

GoogleIn selling my 2 bed flat with Winkworths, I found their service truly excellent. They were quick to respond, valued fairly and utilised an Offer in Excess Of mechanism achieved a good price. They did a single day viewing in Reading for 9 viewings resulting in 3 offers shortly after. I must highly commend Trudy which tirelessly pushed both up and down the chain for completion. She was always willing to take a call, even at all hours and was highly dedicated to pushing the solicitors along. They also provided invaluable advice to minimise future delays by getting things prepped in advance. In total for a chain of 3 properties they achieved a completion in about 10 weeks and that's including the Christmas break. Would highly recommend to anyone.
