GoogleI've given 5 stars because Lisa and everyone in the Beckenham Office have given me excellent service during the process of buying a flat. She was very responsive when there might have been issues with cladding on the building and was innovative in coming up with ideas to smooth the whole transaction. GoogleI faced the daunting task of finding an estate agent to sell my deceased sisters house. Alan deMaid were recommended by a neighbour to the property. Living 80 miles away I made an appointment with Peter to meet him at the house. From that moment I knew the right agents had been chosen. Peter was very professional in his appraisal of the property and suggested a price that was very fair. Within a week we had a buyer and I was always kept informed of progress. They went above what one would expect an estate agent to do, even delivering books to a legatee. If I had any questions they were answered in good humour and I never felt rushed. They often visited the house while the sale was going through to check it was ok. From valuing our property right through to the day of completion Peter was there - always contactable, & extremely helpful - walking us through each part of the process. He went over & above by also helping our buyers when their agents had let them down. He liaised with our solicitor & the solicitor of our buyers when necessary as well. GoogleAs a buyer through Alan De Maid, Chislehurst, I was very pleased with the service I received. Peter and Maria were very quick to respond to queries and acted efficiently to keep the process moving between the solictors for both sides. They were also very good at keeping the pressure on us (as buyers) to move towards a completion date for their sellers. Even during challenging COVID times, they were able to facilitate us to have a few visits to the property to allow for electrical etc checks. Having viewed a property previously with another agent, I can say Alan De Maid compared very favourably - 3 months later, I am still waiting for the agent of the other property to follow up with me in relation to some questions. Even if that property had sold, not great behaviour towards a keen buyer. GoogleThe team at Alan de Maid Chislehurst have been incredible, particularly Maria and Peter who looked after our sale. We were selling in an unusual and changeable time with Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic but the team didn't let that phase them and kept pushing for viewings until they found us a buyer. Our main contact was Peter and he truly went above and beyond, working outside of hours and no doubt doing more than required of an estate agent to get our sale over the line. Throughout the process it was clear to us that they value the client, not just the commission and they took the time to talk and explain on the phone, which was appreciated.
