GoogleJames and the team helped us sell a property on behalf of a relative. They arranged an open weekend for the property which generated an offer immediately. That buyer dropped out due to circumstances beyond everyone's control. Another buyer soon came forward. There followed some complicated negotiations with a neighbour. Again these were circumstances beyond anyone's control. James' team kept at it, particularly Caleb who did a great job of keeping the buyer onside. We received great support from the ADM team and with a reasonable commission rate. Highly recommended.

GoogleHad a great experience with the team in Locksbottom that helped us with a purchase two weeks ago. James & David helped us with the property viewings and details. Philippa handled the communication between us and the seller and supported us throughout the purchase. Gary handled our mortgage with care and found us great rates and house insurance. Lisa helped us with the key collection and any other queries we had! Overall it was a great experience for such a stressful process, highly recommended!

Philippa (sales progression) brought an air of calmness to what can be a very stressful process and handled challenges in a way that was fair to both sides. Lisa went over and above to let us view the property when we wanted and even popped over to help us out on move in day. I would definitely use Alan de maid in future

GoogleI have been renting from Alan de maid for 5 years now and their property management department has been outstanding in getting resolutions within a acceptable timeframes, landlord respond dependant of course. But I would like to give a special shout-out to Cliodhna Finnegan for her outstanding customer service within this department. Anytime that I've had to raise an issue/fault, the level of professionalism, care, patience, and support has been outstanding from her. She has been very diligent, meticulous, and incredibly organised in dealing with any thing I have raised with her. She has always made sure her communication is clear, efficient, and highly professional. Her regular updates on matter raised has always given me the peace of mind that the issue is being dealt with and confidence that it's in safe hands. I would give her 5 stars for managing customer expectations and taking time/care to investigate and conclude a quick and efficient resolution for any property issues/repairs raised. Knowing we were selling our childhood home following the loss of our mum, they could not have been more kind, helpful and sensitive from the very first time we spoke with them and explained our situation. Any time we needed to contact them we didn't have to wait for a reply which takes away any frustration or stress. GoogleI tried to arrange viewings for two newly listed properties with this agent, and both attempts were frankly chaotic. Despite both listings being only a couple of days old, he was extremely reluctant to offer a viewing, repeatedly saying offers had already come in and the owners “might accept one.” It felt more like an excuse than a genuine update. The gentleman came across as very disorganised. At one point he said someone could show me the house immediately and that I “should really see it today,” but when I said I could come in two hours, or literally any other day or time, he still wouldn’t commit. I eventually told him to call me when he could arrange a viewing, but he never bothered to follow up. Days later, both houses were still available, yet he still didn’t offer a viewing. It was clear he wasn’t interested in helping a serious buyer. I have already completed, I’m ready to move, and I have a strong budget, a straightforward, proceedable buyer, and he still couldn’t organise a simple viewing. A huge missed opportunity for everyone involved. One of the houses went under offer twice and fell through twice, all while I was fully able to purchase it. His rush to secure a quick sale seems to be completely counterproductive, because he’s missing genuine opportunities right under his nose. A very strange and disappointing experience. Sellers deserve better representation, and buyers deserve basic professionalism. The young girl however was much more friendly and professional but unfortunately did not seem to be in a more senior position to help further

GoogleSam was totally brilliant! She could not have worked harder to make the, very complicated, sale happen.. This included taking my calls at all sorts of times She really cared that the sale was eventually successful and went 200% to make that happen whilst retaining a sense of humour. What more could anyone want!

GoogleThis agency "managed" my house rental very poorly with no push for any rent increase over 8 years+ and no on-site visit during this whole period despite being a contractual obligation, probably due to agency being extremely lazy as well as corruption for having some form of relationship with my tenants. I strongly recommend you avoid using this agency.
