GoogleJust completed on our house sale & wanted to thank Chris & the whole team at the Great Barr branch. Our sale was anything but straight forward but every one of the team working on our sale remained friendly, professional and helpful thru out the process. They undertook the viewings for us and made sure we got useful feedback from the viewers. The service was well worth they money charged and my wife & I would certainly use Acres again & have no hesitation in recommending them!

GoogleHave recently sold our mom’s house with Acres Walmley. We had many viewings particularly in the first few weeks. We were kept informed regularly on the progress of the sale and all of the agents we dealt with were friendly and approachable. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

GoogleNo option for zero so I’ve had to choose 1 star. We were needing a valuation for our recently deceased mum’s house and since Acres had sold a lot in the complex they were a shoe in. Or not. The guy who turned up (Chris?) didn’t listen to a word we said, asked the same things repeatedly and spent most of the appointment completely unprofessionally slating the other agent we’d told him was coming the next day. Then the branch manager hounded us almost daily with calls whilst we were trying to sort out our mum’s funeral. We had been clear with the visiting agent about our situation but this obviously had not been passed on. Incidentally, the other agent they slated was actually superb and totally understood customer service (Shipways). Zero empathy or compassion for our situation shown. I would not recommend at all.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I am extremely surprised, and disappointed by your feedback and comments as certainly that doesn’t sound like Chris or the team given the outstanding feedback the office always receives, and our view of never belittling the competition, it really is counter productive, especially given all the agents locally are very good. Having looked into the matter in depth I can confirm a previous member of staff attended the Valuation as Chris was on annual leave then. Given Chris was on away it appears that when he returned to the office he, as the manager called valuations that were done in his absence to introduce himself / to see if there were any further questions and clearly caught you in the midst of the funeral preparations, of which of course Chris would not have been aware, and we are truly sorry for. As mentioned we are very sorry to hear the details of your note, however I felt it very important to provide you some background. The way the valuation appears to have been undertaken is not the way Chris, nor Acres act. As a family business service, courtesy and attention to detail is key, I would also confirm the person involved has moved on... May we wish you success with the sale of your property, I’m was very sorry to hear your feedback however always appreciate constructive criticism, I shall be sure to pass this on to ensure any misunderstanding do not happen once more. I had met another local agent and in complete contrast to them, Acres were efficient, enthusiastic and focussed from the start and followed through and delivered at every stage. I dealt with 5-6 people - Angela, Julie, Lauren, Natalie, Millie - in the office, and all were excellent. I would recommend them thoroughly to anyone selling in this area. GoogleAfter trying to purchase a property in Sutton, i would strongly recommend avoiding Acres. We had the fortunate joy of dealing with Liz, who was frankly, terrible. She was rude, belittling, and made the whole process of viewing and offering on more than one property an unpleasant experience. Unsurprisingly others have also reviewed the same (and probably many more that have been since removed). We used Paul Carr in the end who were a world of difference, and made the purchasing of a house a breeze!

Met up with 3 major estate agents before made my choice - Acres were by far the best for their marketing strategy and for their personal service .
