Frustrating and Poorly Managed Experience I had a very disappointing experience with this estate agent during both the sale of a property and the purchase of another. Viewings were handled very poorly. On multiple occasions the agent did not show up, leaving me to conduct the viewings myself. This is not acceptable for a paid service. Communication throughout the process was consistently inadequate. Deadlines were not clearly communicated, updates were often missing, and questions were not properly relayed between parties. This caused unnecessary stress and confusion at every stage. Even after completion, issues continued due to poor communication, resulting in further avoidable problems. What was most concerning was the lack of client care. I did not feel that my best interests were being considered. At one point, I was advised to auction the property, which could have significantly reduced its value and created serious risk. There were also instances of inconsistent communication which made the situation more difficult than it needed to be. Overall, I cannot recommend this estate agent. The service was disorganised and lacked the level of professionalism expected in such an important transaction.

I appointed Acres to sell my property during quite a challenging time. The property sold in 11 days to the second viewer for the full asking price. The chain below was long and complex but Steve and the team did a great job of following up and keeping me informed. I talked to Steve on a daily basis and found him very easy to work with. Steve is clearly very experienced and skilled in managing complex sales processes. I recommend Steve and the team at Acres without reservation and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Excellent Service, Professional, Responsive !!! We approached / registered our interests with Acres Estate Agents to purchase property in Sutton Coldfield area as were moving from Leicester. We soon viewed few properties which were all well pre matched and selected for our requirements. Once the correct property was found, Liz Merrington and Matthew Tubb skilfully got all the objectives accomplished to satisfaction of both parties. We viewed around 6 or 7 properties through Acres with Beth and Katherine and have to say how refreshingly open, honest, professional and friendly we found them to be. We viewed around 50 homes, with various estate agents and the marked difference between the agents was quite remarkable. Viewings weren't rushed, follow up calls always took place and add on's like mortgages, solicitors were not pushed. Basically we felt that the whole process was one of honesty! Unfortunately, we didn't find our forever home with them, not for want of trying on their part, but we would definitely use them in the future to sell our property. Acres at Sutton Coldfield recently sold my mother's house. Their service cannot be faulted. My mother had found an apartment that she desperately wanted. After a call to Acres, Louise the manager came out, took all necessary details, photos etc and had the house on the market within 24 hours, resulting in 2 days of viewings booked for a few days later.....awesome! As a result my mum recieved multiple offers and was able to secure her dream apartment. A special mention to Claire who managed the sale and kept us up to speed with the progress, as well as pushing the solicitors involved right through to completion. If you want a professional estate agent that will manage your sale effectively I cannot recommend Acres at Sutton Coldfield highly enough. A massive thank you from Mum and I Julie

I was buying a particularly troubled property, with problems on its paperwork, boundary maps, etc.. Claire Allum did an amazing job in chasing the solicitors to ensure that everything happens at the end. It took in total 137 days from offer acceptance to completion due to the lockdown, which was affecting the operation of the city council, solicitors, banks, etc..., but Claire was always present to chase.
