We were very impressed with the service provided by your team, and thank you for all your help in the sale of our family home, and getting this agreed so quickly. It was a stressful time for my sister and I, following on from my father’s death, and neither of us really wanted to part with the house for nostalgic reasons, whilst at the same time not being able to keep it going. In the end, I believe it has gone to new owners who will appreciate the benefits of the house and its location and will give it the attention it deserves to bring it up-to-date. The marketing of the house went very smoothly and we were impressed with the number of potential buyers you were able to show round, and the handling of the final bids, which meant we achieved a good sale price (which surprised even you, I think!). I appreciate that the market is very busy and you have limited staff and office space available, but we were impressed with the speed with which any queries were answered and dealt with promptly by your back office team, and the fact that they recognised who we were and were always polite and helpful. I would like to make a special mention of Liz, who is brilliant in the way she multi-tasks and deals with situations as they arise with no fuss. We had an issue towards the end of the transaction, which was looking like it would cause a two week delay which would have caused huge practical problems for us. However, when we explained this to Liz, she could see we were distressed and quickly got on the phone with all concerned and managed to agree a suitable date, which was excellent and a great relief for us. I put in an offer on a house, was told later that day I hadn't got it due to a cash buyer. Two days later I spoke to the vendors, who hadn't received my offer until over 24hrs AFTER I'd been told I hadn't got it AND that they hadn't got a cash buyer. Utterly abysmal and unprofessional behaviour, do not trust a word they say, I'm currently looking at reporting them.

Enquired about one of their rental properties on August 3rd via rightmove and recieved no correspondance until the 16th to be informed the property was now let. I wouldnt be so annoyed but when I called and spoke to Samantha she was rude, laughed at me on the call and told me to call them in future. I was told my email was received 13 days after I sent the enquiry. I didnt realise as a potential client you were supposed to chase an agent yourself. This was a property we were waiting for to put in an application.

I recently sold a flat through Acres in Four Oaks. The service i recieved was exceptional from the initual meeting and valuation with Nigel Deeke, through to the viewings, negotiations and management of the sale. I was always kept fully informed with regular updates about the viewings and then later the progress of the sale. I expected the sale of the flat to be very stressful but was extremely pleased to find that this was not the case plus they managed to negotiate an £8k more tgan expected.All in all a very professional company who provided a second to none service. I had my property on the market with Steve at Great Barr office, over promised and under achieved, my property was damaged while they were showing people round, they knew about it but never informed us and when we asked who and when it was done they denied all knowledge just saying that they could not be with everybody looking round. It is a bungalow and they pulled the cupboard door from its hinges, think you would hear someone doing that.We moved to a different estate agent and made a complaint to the partner who took 2 weeks to reply with 2 sentences saying he agreed with Steve. We were warned not to use them as they were rubbish but did not heed the warning, I suggest don't waste your time with the Great Barr office.

Sellers beware

So far I have emailed and left messages (office was open but went to answerphone) trying to book a viewing. So far no contact from them after waiting several hours. Certainly the worst estate agent service we have received. I feel sorry for the seller who have trusted these people but are not getting customer service as I have no other way of viewing this property but I am considering not bothering.
