Ive exchanged and completed on 24th November - I had what can only be described as an outstanding service from the Acres team at Wylde Green. Sharon and her team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish - they dealt with my house sale and every step through the process, I was updated regularly, the team chased when they needed to and we completed on exactly the date we said we would 8 weeks ago when my house sold. I was very impressed and had multiple offers on my house on the first day of it going on sale. I put in an offer on a house, was told later that day I hadn't got it due to a cash buyer. Two days later I spoke to the vendors, who hadn't received my offer until over 24hrs AFTER I'd been told I hadn't got it AND that they hadn't got a cash buyer. Utterly abysmal and unprofessional behaviour, do not trust a word they say, I'm currently looking at reporting them.

Enquired about one of their rental properties on August 3rd via rightmove and recieved no correspondance until the 16th to be informed the property was now let. I wouldnt be so annoyed but when I called and spoke to Samantha she was rude, laughed at me on the call and told me to call them in future. I was told my email was received 13 days after I sent the enquiry. I didnt realise as a potential client you were supposed to chase an agent yourself. This was a property we were waiting for to put in an application.

I recently sold a flat through Acres in Four Oaks. The service i recieved was exceptional from the initual meeting and valuation with Nigel Deeke, through to the viewings, negotiations and management of the sale. I was always kept fully informed with regular updates about the viewings and then later the progress of the sale. I expected the sale of the flat to be very stressful but was extremely pleased to find that this was not the case plus they managed to negotiate an £8k more tgan expected.All in all a very professional company who provided a second to none service. I had my property on the market with Steve at Great Barr office, over promised and under achieved, my property was damaged while they were showing people round, they knew about it but never informed us and when we asked who and when it was done they denied all knowledge just saying that they could not be with everybody looking round. It is a bungalow and they pulled the cupboard door from its hinges, think you would hear someone doing that.We moved to a different estate agent and made a complaint to the partner who took 2 weeks to reply with 2 sentences saying he agreed with Steve. We were warned not to use them as they were rubbish but did not heed the warning, I suggest don't waste your time with the Great Barr office.

Sellers beware

So far I have emailed and left messages (office was open but went to answerphone) trying to book a viewing. So far no contact from them after waiting several hours. Certainly the worst estate agent service we have received. I feel sorry for the seller who have trusted these people but are not getting customer service as I have no other way of viewing this property but I am considering not bothering.

The team is doing a great job at managing my property in Birmingham B18. 26/09/2018 - further to above, I'd like to add that Acres Lettings and Management in Four Oakes looked after my property in B18 for a year from 2017-2018. While I have moved to another agent now (because the other agent managed to find a tenant on this occassion and I wanted to avoid any rental voids), I am extremely pleased with the way Acres looked after my property. During the year, I had contact with several members of their team (I can currently recall Julie, Samantha and Sue.
