GoogleBoth myself and my wife have used Nicol & Co Estate agents several times now and we really wouldn't go anywhere else. They are professional in everything that they do, communicate well and are responsive and they provide an excellent service which goes way beyond what I'd normally expect from an estate agent.
They make the whole process, whether buying and/or selling, so much easier and less stressful. Unfortunately I can only give them 5 stars but I certainly believe they are worth more.
Just to add to this. Our recent sale went through without a hitch thanks to the efforts of Leanne and the team (special mention to Lara on the sales team who was excellent!) who not only made sure that everything was done in a timely manner but kept everyone informed on both sides of the sale of where we were in the process etc., they really do above and beyond at Nicol's. GoogleLuke Alexander dealt with the entire process. It was a tricky sale due to some legal issues which Luke dealt with for us in a supportive, professional and honest manner. I only had to phone Luke and he would listen to me , reassure me at times and guide us through the process.
When ever I did call I got a response within a couple of hours, whether it was through email, text or a phone call which again is reassuring.
The whole team in the office were great but Luke was outstanding.

Yuri was helpful, proactive and his communication is exceptional!
Remembered that my partner and I were keen for a 1 bed flat before and got in touch with us and found us the perfect place.
If anyone is conscious about the process through lockdown, that they do a phone call first, then a video tour of the property and if you like it and get short-listed, you can set up a viewing in person before signing everything.

GoogleWe have previously bought / sold 2 houses and this was our 3rd. To be honest the process is always so tedious and not very enjoyable. However this is not the case with Nicol & Co! I liked the honest pricing from the evaluation with Neil at the beginning, marketing techniques are great and Leeann is the force that drives through the aftersale process, giving weekly updates and chases the whole chain through. From the initial valuations, the marketing of the property and through managing offers, they offered considered and reliable advice which allowed me to make decisions with confidence. I was kept informed of progress along the whole chain on a regular basis and nothing was too much trouble.
Although everyone I had contact with was polite and concerned to offer the best service, I had most dealings with Kat, whose positive and caring approach meant I felt confident the sale would be successful. I really appreciate her willingness to liaise with solicitors, other estate agents and all parties concerned without hesitation and to report back swiftly and clearly. I felt I could approach her readily with any queries, no matter how small.

I must mention those that have held our hand during our sale. Robin McKenzie was absolutely superb in conducting the valuation of our home. In all ways, extremely professional and able to see what we saw when we bought the house 8 and a half years ago. There was no question we’d use Nicol and Co.
This was cemented by Dan Westwood who had a family in mind for our home. He sold the house before going on the market and less than 5 days after agreeing to proceed!
Evie Bennett, who was by our side for many months progressing the sale through the pandemic was extremely kind, patient and understanding. FacebookI recently bought a house in Worcester and having been through this process several times I am very used to dealing with Estate Agents and didn't have very high expectations. Wow was I wrong! Nicol & Co were thorough and professional throughout and their Senior Sales Progressor Leanne Fletcher was an absolute joy to deal with. She was constantly in touch, with updates on how things were progressing, without being pushy, she liaised with all parties regularly, gently reminding and getting things done swiftly. The whole process was done and dusted in ten weeks which is amazing during covid times and current working practices (my last purchase took 6 months!) and that was in no small part because of Leanne's efficiency and tenaciousness. I would absolutely deal with Nicol & Co again and would recommend them without hesitation. In fact to prove a point, I am actually using them to rent the property I have just bought. It is so refreshing not to feel disappointed with the level of customer service given by a company nowadays.

FacebookMy wife and I asked several local estate agents to value our house, including Nicol & Co. We chose Nicol & Co. because we sensed a higher level of motivation and friendliness compared to the other companies.They valued our house accurately, achieving the full asking price. The transaction was then handled by one of their sales progressors, (Jessica). Our transaction turned into a nightmare because our buyer used probably the best known cut-price online estate agents, who in due course appointed the worst imaginable solicitors. Their solicitors did not even acknowledge multiple communications from Jessica (or our solicitor), let alone action them!Jessica provided regular updates to us and to the other parties involved in the transaction. When it became apparent that the transaction was in grave danger of collapsing, Jessica escalated the matter to her sales manager (Coralie Walrond)Coral made an incredible effort to keep the transaction alive. She spent hours every day chasing the solicitors that were causing all the problems. During this period, she kept us updated every day by both phone and email. She also liaised closely with the other parties, keeping them onboard. If it were not for her determination and considerable experience we have no doubt that it would have collapsed. Eventually this paid off and the transaction was successfully completed.My wife and I give Nicol & Co. our strongest possible recommendation. They always answered their phone promptly and responded to our emails. They demonstrated incredible determination and competence to achieve a successful outcome. They also stood out for their friendly and supportive attitude throughout. We appointed them rather than another local agent primarily because we sensed a higher degree of motivation and friendliness. When the going got tough, our assessment proved to be accurate. This experience has also demonstrated the risks associated with instructing an online cut, price estate agent, and vindicates our decision to appoint Nicol & Co.

The channel of communication remained open from the moment we had our property valued by Robin to when we collected the keys at completion. They allowed us to view properties that were on their books but were not yet on the market and it was one of these that we are now lucky enough to call our home. It was actually Matt Nicol who was in the hot seat when we sold our house and it came as a result of him following up with previously interested parties after we decided to drop our asking price slightly. Once at the stage of completing legal documentation Nicol & Co sent an employee to our house to ensure it was done correctly, thus avoiding any delays further down the line. This was an unexpected bonus that was hugely appreciated. The sales progression team were exceptionally helpful and Odette was able to guide us through answering the inquiries we received from our purchasers and Coral ensured the solicitors were working towards the timeline we had requested. Nicol & Co were there to guide us at every step of the process and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.
