Moving to the UK

I recently booked viewings of a few rental properties with Charters, Samuel Scott was my agent. Sam was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the houses I visited. He found the perfect place for me and helped me through the process of finalising the contract, which was not straightfwd as I still live abroad. I will most definitely go back to Charters and to Sam for my future housing needs.

Charters exceed any estate agents!!

What can we say from start to finish Charters were nothing less than exceptional. Phil Northover from Southampton branch over saw the sale of our house from start to finish, there were a lot of bumps in the road but he kept in contact throughout and went above and beyond for us! We can’t recommend Charters enough, every time you call the office everyone is friendly and professional and calls are returned quickly. Our move was particularly stressful but made easier by using Charters, we can’t thank Phil Northover enough for all his hard work getting our house sold and us into our new dream house!

We've worked with Toby Beagley and Adam Barnes from the Park Gate office to purchase, prepare and finally find tenants for a small buy-to-let portfolio, including the subsequent ongoing management.We've been very pleased with the advice we have been given, resulting in high quality tenants in high quality property. Communication throughout the process from initial consultations through to the monthly management reports has been excellent.Any issues through the approximately 18 month process were resolved very quickly.This has been a reasonable investment; we are very happy with our experience so far.

Myself and my partner was so amazed by the friendly, genuine care and understanding approach that Sarah brought in showing us 7 rental properties in one day.We weren't fixed on what we wanted or where exactly we wanted to be in Winchester so we had put a lot of faith into Sarah to show us a wide variety of areas and homes to help us make a decision.We arrived to the first appointment with a flat tyre and with Sarah's local knowledge we managed to park our car in a safe place so that we could still make the appointments in good time. On the drive between properties, local landmarks, especially walking routes and pubs were mentioned as both myself and my partner both love country pubs and taking long walks in nature. She made a point of telling us how we could easily find these walks from each of the properties and how easily accessible shops and supermarkets were. Overall, we were so impressed that Sarah had prompted us to book viewings for properties that we may have normally overlooked. She put together an amazing schedule and planned the route in a way that allowed us to really see the local area and enough variety of different homes, that once we were done, gave us enough information to really know what we wanted, where we wanted to be and make a clear informed decision on the day.We were so happy to have made an offer on a property that actually over exceeded our expectations and are now just waiting for all the checks to go through. The whole process so far has been quick, easy and super friendly. We both can't thank Sarah enough and Charters Estate Agents for their help in finding our new home.

From the moment I phoned Charters to the moment our offer got accepted they have been first class. I dealt with Cameron broom the whole way through and to be honest I couldn’t have asked for anymore he was outstanding. Charters have been fantastic through the sale of our property. Mark and his colleagues did a great job with the marketing and sale of our house. Jo you’re amazing !

Jo is & has been a life saver! The fact that this is not my first purchase so I’m aware about how complicated a sale/purchase process could be … but wow I’ve never been so uneasy with a purchase with all the worrying and headache ! I highly recommend Charters. They recently handled the sale of our property and we were absolutely delighted with the standard of service. They were professional, attentive, polite and extremely good at following up, both with potential buyers but also in handling a lot of the "behind the scenes" activities.
