Deborah and all of her team did a fantastic job both for me as the seller and also for my buyers. It turns out that selling houses can be quite complicated, stressful and challenging! Having a very competent estate agent such as Maddisons was well worth it. There were a number of occasions where Deborah or one of excellent crew stepped in to deal with resolving issues, deal with communication problems, apply pressure, understand complicated issues and worth through them.

We are so pleased we chose Maddisons to sell our house.
Right from Deborah's initial visit, where she not only valued the property, but also gave us lots of advice and tips on making the most of the house; to the beautifully produced particulars that blow the competition out of the water, to their amazing customer service, everything about Maddisons' goes that little bit (or rather, a lot!) further than any of the others.
The team were all fantastic, everyone knew what was going on with our viewings, sales etc, rather than the agent who we bought from, where it was 1 person, and they never seemed to be there!
Nothing was too much trouble, quite often we phoned to ask for something, and it had already been done!
I thoroughly recommend them to all I meet, and wouldn't hesitate to use again.
There aren't enough words to describe Maddisons and their service, but extraordinary, efficient, friendly, reassuring, professional and fabulous, work well for starters!

We sold and bought through Maddisons in 2017, but were introduced to the firm [Deborah] in 2015. As an agent Maddisons deliver on all aspects of their service. From a sellers perspective the front-end experience is superb. Never put under pressure and offered lot's of helpful advice to appropriately prepare a property for market. The time and attention taken on appreciating your property in order to prepare and execute the high end marketing programme is particularly impressive. The team are just as professional throughout the mid and back-end process with consistent communication always keeping you abreast of developments. From a buyers perspective the service is also excellent. Maddisons take time to understand the personalities and objectives of the buyers, before making recommendations or conducting searches for appropriate properties. Once again you are always made to feel at ease, never put under pressure and feel as if you are being offered a personalised service. Maddisons were the vendors agent and acted superbly throughout. I know now that the property had been on the market with another agent before Maddisons took it on and had struggled to sell. Maddisons had clearly been involved in making it look more attractive to potential buyers and they nailed it. Their marketing brochures etc are beautiful and the various agents I met from Maddisons in the 2/3 viewings were all charming, intelligent 'soft-sellers'.
I said to Deborah on completion that without any doubt, she'd sell the property again when we want to do so.

The Trusted AgentThe difference? Maddison's maximise the sales opportunity of every viewing.
Maddison's take a much more "end-to-end" approach to selling a house than other agents I've experienced. I.e. They oversee and involve themselves in every step of the process - from telling you in plain English exactly what you need to do to your house to make it more appealing to prospective purchasers, right through to following up on queries your buyers may have with their new home after they've moved in.
Of course they are professional, friendly and efficient. The big difference though comes when they conduct viewings of your property. There is no "Viewing team" comprised of part-timers who only work weekends and may only have seen your property for the first time 15 minutes prior to the viewers arriving. Instead owners are banished from the house and the agent handling your sale personally conducts the viewing. The agent not only knows your house inside out but seizes the opportunity to proactively sell the benefits of it to viewers in a way that the owner could never do. Verbal feedback comes immediately after the viewers have left, with written follow-up a day or so later.
Add into this, the fact that Maddison's fees are very competitive and really you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by giving them a try.
I cannot recommend Deborah and her team highly enough.

The service provided by Deborah and her team far and away exceeded our expectations and we are delighted we chose them as our selling agent.
We'd found somewhere we wanted to buy and needed to find a buyer quickly - Maddisons sprang into action and we were soon on the market with some amazing pictures and marketing. Three days later we were under offer for over the asking price which blew us away.

As buyers you.normally feel the agent is working entirely on sellers behalf, which is right, but felt they were on your side too. Integrity is everything in this industry and they have it in spades. They don't shy away from telling you news you don't want to hear,, call when they promise and in our case pushed our own sale forward which was seriously floundering.. My only regret was that we hadn't engaged Maddison's to act for us on our sale, we might have moved 18 months sooner. Maddisons Residential are a brilliant estate agent. They provided us with a first class service and are a shining light in an all too often substandard and disappointing industry. Whilst we were simply the buyer, Deborah made us feel like we were her client. From the first viewing of the property she was friendly, engaging, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the house. She had taken the time to do extensive research and had answers to all of our questions. It really felt like she cared. She was very supportive and honest during the negotiations and helped us to secure the property quickly. The whole buying process ended up becoming very stressful due to complications further up the chain, but Deborah made sure that we were kept completely in the loop on a daily basis and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was resolved positively. I genuinely believe if someone else had been handling the process it would have collapsed before completion.
The personal service and extra touches throughout (a gift of writing cards with our new address on them was a lovely thought) turned a very stressful process into what it should have always been - an exciting and memorable life experience.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Maddisons to others and in fact have already passed her details onto two family friends who are having trouble selling their properties.
