View AgentsTerrible, dreadful, avoid it if you can
Terrible customer service - they treat you like an idiot. They aren't returning deposits on time, ignore your emails, phone calls, lie into your face. The only thing they were trained good enough for is to say "our apologies" and "we are so sorry" and "some one will definitely get in touch with you tomorrow". And then you wait, and wait, and chase and wait... We dealt with several letting agencies before, but this one is just worst of the worst. I do not ever write reviews, but they just made me mad. You have broken washing machine? They don't care. You have leaking roof? They don;t care. you have mould all around the house? they don't care. What do you, MG, care about at all?

Googleif you want your deposit to be taken and never return to you look no futher than martyn gerrard.. called martyn gerrard more than 10 times for getting my deposit back everytime they told me they will pass my message to manager and he will call me back which he never did. and anytime i asked them if is there any form i need to fill they said no because its already been an inventory check out.. so they clearly robbed us more than 2000 pounds..

I have used Martyn Gerrard's services (tenants finders and managing agent for my property) for a few years and enjoy the professionalism of the tenants finders team. They are quick to respond and courteous but also you feel they respect you as a client and know how to nurture that relationship. One area the company could improve on however is joining up their services, between tenants finders team and property management team. They do not always come across as one single company which can cause some duplication and miscommunication.

It was more than lucky for me to know Michele when I got difficult to find the one to rent after the previous reservation was suddenly canceled and the agency (other than MG) tried to take admin fee not taking any responsibility at the end of late and poor service. Their staff was even late for 30min at viewing! Michele, took just one week (1/3 time to the previous agent) to arrange viewing, preparing documents, contacting the owner and making the contract. His work has been all clear and neat and timely managed in such a kind manner. Even out of property agency area, it'd be hard to find this kind of high quality service, I don't post a review normally, it's first time and I wanted to reward to him in this way. View AgentsDreadful untrustworthy estate agents. DO NOT use these agents. I was buying a house through them they lied and said it was off the market. I went ahead with purchase paying for survey and all the usual other stuff and all the while they sold it behind my back WITHOUT telling me. Only to find out it was because they had a higher offer. Making me waste time and money and emotional investment as i loved that house. They allowed me to continue wasting time and money without the courtesy of informing me they had sold it behind my back! This goes on too often with them and their reputation is reknowned for this behaviour.

GoogleHello there. Everything what Kamil Wawrzyszko wrote above is true. We were moving into that property together. The actions of agents of this agency speak for itself. They misinformed us about referencing criteria and did not mention that they will calculate our yearly income based on last 3 financial years. If we knew that very important bit of information we would not even start the referencing process, and we would not waste our time and money. We have been pointing this out during conversations with them but they completely ignore us. This is barbarian behaviour and tactics and in result we are having difficulty of getting our holding deposit back - which is fairly big amount. I would not recommend this agency what so ever as they are not customer orientated at all. I am a business owner myself and I have seen a lot in the world of customer relations from the point of view of businessman, but I never came across such behaviour and disregard before (period).... Disappointed Customer
