G'day Muswell Hill team, I called on Saturday midday to book a viewing of a property listed for sale by Martyn Gerrard Muswell Hill. I was told someone would call me back an hour later to book in the viewing. The person I spoke to said his name was Daniel. No one called me back. So I called again on the same day at 3pm. This time I got through to David. I told him I'd called earlier in the day to book in a viewing. He told me to stop calling as no one was available to book the viewing. In an unpleasant tone of voice. I could tell manners weren't David's strength - so I thanked him and hung up. Definitely the worst first impression I've had with an estate agency, both here in the UK and back home in NZ. The property is 360 Alexandra Park Road, N22 7BD. I'm a 6 minute walk away, having bought my first London home last year in N22. Anyway, I'm just trying to book a viewing. It's not rocket science. Would love to see some professionalism if you call back. Daniel took down my number.

'A breathe of fresh air!' Anthony Whyte Assistant Manager 'I am singing your praises.' Our first time coming into a rental property, a stop gap, until we are ready to buy again. This was a big deal to us as we were relocating as well. As a whole I have found Martyn Gerrard to be a positive Company, every person i have spoken with is friendly and well mannered, no matter whom i have spoken to whether it be in head office, taking a message and passing down to the branch or to your colleagues Faisal, often Sheraz (taking my messages), Megan PA in lettings and Ginatra. This naturally stems from the top and is clearly the sign of a successful Company, a Company that is aiming to go far and i sincerely hope this will always be maintained. Most importantly for me and my family having spoken to and registered with approx 12 other letting agents in Highgate and Muswell Hill, Anthony Whyte was one of the few, who did not react unfavourably when i informed him, that it would be necessary to name our disabled son as a tenant on the Contract. Naturally our son had to submit relevant documents and i did this on his behalf. However, being a Carer to a 29 year old person with a disability it was refreshing to see a young man such as 'Anthony, give the same professionalism and rights to a person with needs as he/one would to a person no disability!' We are happy with our relocation, hopefully over a period of time our eldest son, as per above, will settle and it is then that we will look to purchase in this area. No doubt we would then look to use you Sales colleagues.

Just like the other reviews here- impossible to book a viewing! Some reviews down here were lucky enough to get a hold of an agent, all I got was the most annoying AI bot WhatsApping me with questions (some irrelevant) and as I requested a live agent all I got was the same question again and again. I later got another WhatsApp from a live agent called Matthew saying he is sending me links to “more properties I might be interested in” while neither was the one I actually enquired about and wanted to view. As I told Matthew which property I enquired about all I got was a ‘like’. Quite unprofessional and doesn’t really serve the purpose of a letting agent does it….

Paige goes above and beyond in every situation!

This review is for Paige Ford specifically and also the MG team that supported her. Paige is an incredibly responsive, helpful, genuine and supportive agent! From the time she has been an agent for my flat, she has been extremely quick to act and resolve any and all issues I have had. Today, she went above and beyond. I had left an important visa document in my flat and was stuck in a different country. Even though Paige didn’t have to do this, she went out of her way to get a locksmith she procured to access my flat, retrieve the document, leave it in the safe hands of my neighbour to be couriered back to me. She took significant time out of her busy schedule to do this favour which is certainly beyond her role. It is because of her that I’m now able to travel back to the UK after a horribly stressful time. You definitely will not meet a better person or agent than Paige! Very grateful for the help and support I received from her and the MG team.

Martyn Gerrard helped me sell my flat in Coniston Road. Sunny who was the Agent was efficient ,polite and energetic resulting in a sale as soon as possible. Today I was walking a long way with an injured ankle to find my car. I had an appointment in Broxbourne and my phone battery had run out. I passed Martyn Gerrard and needed a charger and help to get a taxi. Anthony an agent in the Muswell Hill office. Offered to help me. He got me a drink of water , phoned a taxi and booked it for me telling the driver exactly where I was going. He even got a quote a quote for me. Then he looked on my Find My Car App and told me where my car was..Anthony is an example of the qualities that a Estate Agent needs ; Efficient; flexible, respectful and well mannered. I will recommend Martyn Gerrard to others who are buying and selling property. My opinion of this young man is high. He is an asset to company like Martyn Gerrard.

We had a great experience with Antony, who showed us around a few properties. He was very friendly yet professional; we felt we could ask him as many questions as possible without feeling rushed. He gave us enough time to look at all the rooms and kept the conversation flowing to build a great rapport.
