Martyn Gerrard is probably the worst Estate Agent you will ever come across. My partner and I have been trying to resolve issues with them for the past 6 months and have found their main approach to business is to ignore you while charging you for their very poor service. Feel free to go with this company but beware. I would give them 0 stars. Even letters to their MD and Directors are ignored. We will update this on a weekly basis.

We are really sorry that you are having this problem. As we have already explained to you this dispute is between you and your landlord and you have to keep chasing them.
Unfortunately, we are not your Landlords managing agent and have no legal standing to get involved, although we appreciate that at the moment this is a moot point, as you rightly just want your money back.
We will of course do what we can but as we have explained this is ultimately between you and the Landlord. If you can’t reach an agreement or they don’t respond, you can take the dispute to the TDS for adjudication, the details for this process is in your tenancy agreement.
We recommend to all our Landlords they take up our Management option and for Tenants to, whenever possible, rent a property that is fully managed by a professional agency. It helps avoid circumstances such as this, as the agent would then be able to step in and help resolve such disputes.
