My experience with Briscombe Nutter & Staff was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we decided to sell our home in Manchester, they were with us every step of the way.
Their team's professionalism and dedication were evident from the outset. They quickly sold our property, managing the entire process with efficiency and expertise. What truly stood out was their exceptional level of customer service.
The staff at Briscombe were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive. They were always prompt in their responses, addressing any queries or concerns we had with care and diligence. It was reassuring to know that whenever we reached out, we would receive a response the same day.
Selling a home can be a daunting process, but Briscombe made it seamless and stress-free. Their commitment to excellence and their personalized approach to client care truly set them apart. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for an estate agency that goes above and beyond, look no further than Briscombe Nutter & Staff.

GoogleFrom start to finish the staff and Briscombe were superb. We cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff are always going the extra mile and looking to provide advice and guidance in a professional and caring way. Katie and Jo were always on hand to answer any questions we had and provided realistic and sensible solutions.
The selling process was made so much easier with Briscombe. What was nice was the fact there was no pushing sales approach and it is clear in every aspect that they have your best interests.they managed all of our viewings and the high level of local knowledge and expertise without doubt played a part in securing our sale.
Wouldn’t use anyone else to sell any future houses! Thank you.

GoogleWow! Unbelievable service from the team at Briscombe's. Special mention to Jan for making the process of moving so seamless and going above and beyond at every opportunity to make sure that we where kept informed and got the property that we really wanted. What I love about Briscombe's is they treat you like a real person not just another prospect. And the personal service really reflects the family business values they advertise. Also quick mention to Mya for always responding back and despite many questions near the end, always remained polite and courteous to us. Thanks everyone, would definitely recommend.

GoogleThe best estate agents I have ever dealt with when renting. Briscombe served as the middle man between myself and a tricky landlord and they were always fighting my corner and chasing on any issues and getting them picked up and resolved quickly. The application process to obtain our flat was straightforward, they were punctual and always polite and friendly to deal with, whereas a lot of the time when a flats being advertised the company don’t get back to you. When it came to moving out, unlike previous companies they didn’t try and rip me off with charges during the inspection to get a few quid out my deposit, they were honest and reviewed my comments and the full deposit was returned. I also received this quicker than ever before, which was a matter of a few days. Thank you to Jan, Laura and Mya for all your help over the last year and will hopefully rent with Briscombe again in the future.

GoogleI would like to leave only positive feedback about the Briscombe agency. From the very beginning, all the office staff were flexible and willing to do their best for us. I especially want to thank Johanna Smith. This agent did an incredible job. She was always in touch with us, explaining all bits and pieces, offering advice, helping, and looking for the best options and solutions that were relevant for us. She gave us a lot of tips and useful suggestions. I want to say a big thank you to her for all the work she did. We moved into our new home on time and with no issues. Thank you so much to everyone.

GoogleI tried two other local agents to sell my mother's property before I finally instructed Knight Edmonds. The previous agents offered a generally good service, but there were upfront costs (such as photography), and if the listing was withdrawn, those costs still applied. I completely understand the reasoning behind that, but Knight Edmonds operates differently: you only pay on completion, so if they hadn’t successfully sold my mother’s property I wouldn’t have had to pay for photography for a third time!
While the other agents did generate some viewings, I often had to chase them for feedback. Responses were inconsistent and, at times, non-existent. As a seller, constructive feedback is vital to adjust pricing or presentation, and that was sorely lacking.
Knight Edmonds, on the other hand, were quick to act, highly communicative, and always kept me informed about their marketing approach. Every viewing was followed up with prompt and detailed feedback, without me ever needing to chase.
A special mention goes to their sales progressor, Sandra Goldsmith, who was absolutely fantastic. She was proactive in following up with solicitors and the purchaser, working hard behind the scenes to keep the sale moving and keeping me updated every step of the way.
I would recommend Knight Edmonds to anyone looking to sell. They are professional, transparent, and their strong communication made the process so much easier.

GoogleWe sold and bought through Knight Edmonds and would not hesitate to use them again. They got us the best price for our property (£15,000 more than Wards even wanted to market it for!), marketed it brilliantly and were so supportive. We had trouble with our first buyers and they were fantastic in dealing with that very tricky situation. Big shout out to Suzanne our sales progressor who earned her pay many times over in the sheer amount of work she did to get us over the line. She deserves a raise! When our first buyers pulled out after months of messing us around, they found us new buyers at asking price in 4 days! Selling our house was a nightmare, but Knight Edmonds were there every step of the way. I don't know what we would have done without them.

GoogleCraig has a very strange way of running his business. We viewed a house with him and he spent the full 15 minutes telling us his life story. Normally estate agents like to get to know your requirements, your likes and dislikes, your situation. Not Craig his conversations and interests are all about him! We placed an offer on the house we viewed because it sold itself! Craig only got back to us a week later, after us trying to get hold of him and leaving messages, to say a higher offer had been accepted. Again very odd, if he had got back to us to tell us a higher offer was on the table we would have offered more but he didn't give us this opportunity. Not only has he lost his seller money, he has lost himself commission and has alienated us as potential buyers on other properties on his portfolio!!

Tara,
Thank you for your comments although I’m sorry that you felt this way.
Unfortunately I’m not able to change my personality however I understand we are all different.
You had first visited the property on Thursday 2nd February at 5pm and it was being marketed for offers in Excess of £299,995.
You told me you were waiting to put your property on the market then made an offer of £280,000 which had been rejected by the sellers as there were additional buyers that could proceed and I mentioned that the offer was still lower than current offers on the table.
I then received a text from your partner with an increased offer on Tuesday 7th which was again still lower than offers that had already been submitted by other interested buyers, however I made the owner aware of the revised offer. As we had received several offers on this house before yours and this was said in the conversation, including one from an investor, a buyer in rented and a first time buyer that were all higher than the offer you submitted.
I took instructions from our vendor to go back to the buyers that were able to move and we asked for their best and final offers as a decision had to be made so not to lose the buyers that were able to move.
I was not available yesterday Thursday 9th February for part of the day due personal matters and it was not until Friday 10th February that the owners actually came back to me to advise me that they wanted to take the highest offer from the first time buyers. I then contacted your partner this afternoon to update him regarding the acceptance of another offer.
We are obliged to submit all offers clients until exchange of contracts unless they wish not to receive any more offers. So if you would to increase when you have a buyer then please let me know.
In the meantime I wish you all the best in selling your home.
Kind regards
Craig Kelly

Alexandra assisted me while looking to rent a property and provided fantastic, responsive service from start to finish. The whole process was extremely smooth and efficient, I've not had this experience with any other agencies in Maidstone when moving before. I would highly recommend Knight Edmonds over any other Maidstone Estate Agents, and will definitely be using again when moving in future.

GoogleTried to make me increase my offer two months into buying process.
Owner accepted my offer and I was two months into the process, mortgage applied for, my valuation survey was scheduled and on the same day I received a call from Craig to say the owner has now accepted a higher offer and will not sell to me anymore... I then had to cancel my application and survey to which Craig calls me again a few hours later to say the owner is willing to sell to me again if I give a higher offer??? i told him no and left it.
Months later I've gone to check how much the house was sold for and guess what... it was sold for exactly the same as I was offering!!!
Don't waste your time buying a house from this guy.

Google1 star.
Goodlord provided feedback to the letting agent, who then declined my tenancy application. However, the Goodlord app still shows my referencing as being at stage 2 of 4 and awaiting agent review, which only adds to the confusion.
The lack of any meaningful human communication throughout the process was extremely frustrating and has caused me significant setbacks.
I was asked to provide bank statements to demonstrate that I pay rent, which I did. At no point was it made clear that my day-to-day spending would also be assessed. I was specifically told not to submit screenshots, and I complied with that instruction. Despite this, I was given no opportunity to clarify anything or resubmit additional documents before a final decision was made.
Being declined is one thing, but being given little to no explanation and no chance to address any concerns is poor customer service.

I was looking for a partner that is responsive, compliant, and easy to use. Rhys guided me throughout the entire process, and I’ve just signed up with Goodlord!
Even when I had a very minor issue with a typo in the contract, Rhys called me back within minutes to sort it out. As a busy business owner, I really value that level of quick response and personal support- and that’s exactly what I got.
I’m really looking forward to working with the team going forward. Excellent service!
