Stood us up for an appointment. Stay clear. My partner and I booked a viewing for a property in Liverpool. As we were given a time and a place, we assumed that this booking was confirmed. Alas, after traipsing across Liverpool, on a typical British Autumn day (a lot of rain), we arrive at the property, to find, no agent. I called them immediately, (as I was getting soaked) to find out that they tried to email us and call us (40 minutes before the appointment) and because they had no response. They bailed... There was no message to inform us of this. So we rang them and told them what we thought of their professionalism. Don't let through them. Just out of principle. *** To answer your response, we have informed you directly of our disappointments and given you feedback which you have said that you have taken on board. I.e. who ever took our initial booking didn't write down our email address correctly and didn't, in our opinion, try and contact us with urgency to confirm. We had one missed call from you 30 minutes before, when we were on our way. But that's okay whatever you need to say online to justify your rubbish customer service is fine!

I had the pleasure of liaising with Jo Smith recently to sell my home . Jo was so polite, courteous and helpful at all times. Joanne put me at ease, I found her to be efficient , honest and knowledgeable about the area and types of clients who would be interested in my property . Just had some dealings with the Northwood west derby branch office where one of our tenants vacated the property and before a new tenant moved in some works had to be done there. The lovely helpfull lady I dealt with there on this matter was Rhea connolly. I recieved excellent customer service from Rhea as she organised getting the property back up to scratch . When she went out to view property after the last tenant had left certain works needed to be done , I had also had a look and I emailed Rhea with my thoughts and she came straight back to me and organised a total clean up of the property. Other emails I sent to her were answered and issues dealt with in a very speedy manner. So Rhea thank you. The new tenant moves in soon to a lovely clean property so thanks to Rhea for organising that and for the great customer service that she provided in my dealings with her and answering my emails very quickly. Thank you Rhea.

Great quality service. I have used another local letting agent for a number of years to find tenants. The service was poor; the staff changed repeatedly; feedback had to be chased and was different from each new person I spoke to. Northwood by contrast have been superb. Prompt service and rapid feedback, and new tenants found - immediately before to Christmas. I could not be happier and I am delighted to recommend them highly!

My husband and I moved to the UK recently. I called Northwood to rent a property in Liverpool. I informed them that I can get a UK guarantor and also that I can pay them 6 months or 1 year of rent in advance if needed. After talking, they said that we don't fall into their criteria. I asked what their criteria are, whether they don't rent it to students or they rent only to professionals who make some amount they have in their mind. They couldn't explain. That lady straight away said she can't book me in to view the property as I don't fall into the criteria. I am unsure what the criteria really are but I felt that I have been discriminated against for being in the UK from another country. I talk to many letting agents daily but never experienced such a thing with anyone.

Had a property in Liverpool for a number of years let out through a number of agents where there always seemed to be problems. Since moving to Northwood everything has run completely smoothly. Tenants they find have been excellent, payments arrive promptly, they look after the property well and communication is very good. Currently selling the property and Ruth Ledson has been particularly good at keeping on top of the process and keeping us informed of progress. I would always choose Northwood to look after our rental properties.
