I have to say the process was easy from start to finish, and its all thanks to Martyn Gerrard and Andrew! I am an extremely busy person, between courses, work, family, private business, I tend to find my time is all tied up. Andrew made it very easy, from electronic documents to concise emails that contained only relevant information, the process couldn't be easier. Would definetly recommend to those who want an easy process and hassel free agent.

He kept us up to date at every step of the way and was quick to pick up on delays with lawyers etc that may have lead to the sale stalling. “I instructed Martyn Gerrard to market my flat. Unfortunately the first two offers of tenancy did not complete. The first offer did not proceed as the tenants were not free to leave their current commitment and the second failed their references. Martyn Gerrard then successfully let the property on the third offer to two policemen. I’m pleased I used Anthony Spittle at Martyn Gerrard as he advised me all the way through the process”

GoogleAbsolutely appalling service. Agreed to buy a flat, & had DIRECT negotiations with the owner. He completely misinformed me of the financials in the lease. They were more than double what he officially advised me. When challenged, he was completely Blazey over the situation, due to his gross incompetence I missed out on other properties. On officially complaining directly to the owner, he ignored my correspondence. On chasing again, he repeated his silence. How an owner of a company can practice like this is just beyond professional belief. Utter disrespect to his customers.

GoogleDear Raphael & Emma, Houseman Homes I’ve known you both for several years and we’ve worked together on many occasions which I thank you for. In this time, you’ve sold mums house and this time round a house on behalf of my mother-in-law. 2020 was a challenge for many and during lockdown we had to move Lauren’s nan into full time care. It was a real tough time for all. We put Daphne’s house on the market to afford the full-time care and she unfortunately passed away. 93 years old and I’m pretty sure she wanted to kick my arse. You guys were absolutely first class. From advising us all on not taking certain offers, advising buyers on future planning permission to avoid time wasters, and handling the family during their loss. All of this as well as keeping the buyers informed throughout the probate. Thank you both for this above and beyond service. For taking care of the family home in a professional and personal way, achieving a fantastic price and looking after everyone. You guys were immense. Thank you! All the best Andrew Black

I have worked with them on several projects in the past and highly recommend them.
