GoogleWe had a pleasure to be guided by Paige in renting our new flat. She helped us with every step of the process and made sure everything is going well. Paige explained everything clearly and patiently. Very professional as well as very friendly. 5 stars for the company for making the process very easy for new tenants. 6 stars for Paige for the service and help!

GoogleWas a tenant with this agency twice over a 3 year period. A couple of the staff were excellent but most were rude, unhelpful, and arrogant. Often spoke to my partner and myself in a derogatory fashion. I remember one morning where my partner had locked me out of the house and gone to work (don't ask), so I had to shiver in the garage in my pyjamas as it was winter time (my keys were all inside the house). I called martin and co as I knew they had a spare set of keys but they point blank refused to come by and help me out (the property was around 1-2 miles away from the office). My parents kindly drove 90 odd miles to pick me up, with some spare clothes, and take me to the martin and co office to pick up the keys. No sympathy or concern offered, just "get the keys back as soon as possible". Every time we went to the office, was a very awkward and hostile experience. No warmth or customer service to speak of. Would definitely not recommend them. EDIT - I thought I would leave a review as I was reviewing another letting agent and I can see the response from martin and co highlights that it was a few months ago (not really relevant, the service we received was still awful), and saying that they didn't have a spare set of keys (effectively calling me a liar). This sums up in a nutshell martin and co - poor excuses and placing blame for poor service anywhere but on themselves. Proving my point perfectly.

I have tried to call you several times and email you too, to discuss your comments. It is hard to comment on matters that happened over a year ago but I can see that we were not managing the property on behalf of your landlord and I cannot see we held keys either, but as I say it is a bit hard to be sure this long ago. I am sorry that you felt the service did not meet your expectations and thank you for the trouble of reviewing my company. If you do wish to call I would be more than happy to discuss with you. GoogleMoving can be both a wonderful and stressful experience but when you are relocating the challenges can be even greater. Martin & Co offered the best service provided by the best team we could ever imagine. Overall our family is very satisfied with our experience using Martin & Co. Martin & Co Staff was very knowledgeable and understood all our needs. Many aspects of the service experience stood out positively. They were flexible to understand our needs from the begging to the signature of the contract. On moving day, we were blissful to see that everything was ready for us. After that, we realized their partnership would also allow us to optimize bills and keep maintenance up-to-date. We cannot think of any possible changes to the excellent service. We would definitely recommend Martin & Co to family and friends. Also, we loved the ultimate guide by Steve Frost from Martin & Co Chelmsford. We would like to thank each and every one from the outstanding team.

When the sale ran into problems, his experience and skills were invaluable in bringing the sale to a successful completion.

Communication is courteous and professional, with rapid response times. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin & co, Chelmsford whether you are a landlord or tenant. I have now also used Martin & Co for the sale of my property. They were as efficient with this as they were for renting it. If you are in the area, they should be your first choice for sales or lettings. A great team who are a pleasure to deal with.

GoogleI have just moved to the area and was lucky enough to find the team at Martin & Co. in Duke Street Chelmsford. Not only were they professional in the way that they looked after my needs by asking me what I wanted, but were really informative about the city the good and the bad,so instead of second guessing I was able to make informed choices right away ,help like this you can't buy ,I'm very impressed ..many thanks to you all

GoogleHi, very bad system to rent the property my partner not in uk and I was wanting to get the property before she come to uk but there system is very bad partners, all the occupants should be in UK prior to agreement- bad for peoples coming to UK and rent prior to they reach.

It is the Law unfortunately so we do have no choice but to carryout these checks for everyone before they take a tenancy. GoogleEvery member of the team I dealt with was remarkably professional and they raised the bar by providing the fastest response times I've had the pleasure of receiving from a lettings agent. They also seem to advertise the nicest properties out of all the agents in Chelmsford, because the standard is comparatively higher. I wish I had found them earlier. Very pleased with their service.
