GoogleRented a lovely flat next to the train station in the past two years via Martin&Co and would like to say a big thank you! Especially to Rob, the property manager and the whole letting team for having done a fantastic job! They are polite, responsive and helpful whenever I needed to contact them. Really enjoyed my time in Chelmsford and highly recommend this company for those renting.

We have had a really positive experience and have found all staff that we have dealt with to be extremely helpful and prompt with any issue we have had. Propertyfile worked really well for us when we had an issue with a light in our flat, we reported the issue online uploading the relevant pictures and a contractor was booked within 24 hours. GoogleI am extremely disappointed of Martin & Co Chelmsford. They've managed to overcharge me for unexisting check out fee and they overcharge every tenant with cleaning fees plus all type of charges they could posibly get. You cannot reach them when you need them and they are not correct when promised to resolve a problem as they do not even try, they just want your money pretending they care. I was happy when I start my tenancy, however Martin & Co bulied me and cost me tremendous amount of stress at the end of my tenancy. Be careful when you buy or rent any property with them as they seems very nice people ready to take your money and not listen to your requests or needs at all. They are changing staff every day and you will end up not knowing who is dealing with your property. Did I say they took almost all of my deposite and they do not do Inventory check corrcetly so when you enter your new home make sure ypu have evidence of everything. Do not trust them!

Firstly I am sorry that the service you received from my company, whilst renting a property in Chelmsford, has not met your expectations. I have tried to call you and emailed you to discuss your comments. We are acting on behalf of the landlord and any requests for money from your deposit were requested from the landlord to reimburse him for any losses of rent and costs incurred following your vacation of his property. I can confirm that my company has not overcharged you a fee, This was also verified by the DPS adjudication results. I have sent you a statement or your account to show all the payments in and demands due which hopefully will assure you that you have not been overcharged. I am sorry that you are not happy with the DPS adjudication results. This is an independent service and the decisions are binding on both parties. We also use an inventory and checkout clerk to give an unbiased opinion of the condition before and after your occupation.
