Can't thank them enough!

Marion has been fantastic! We recently found ourselves with an expired mortgage product close to completion and without Marion's help we would have been in a very awkward position indeed. From the outset Marion swiftly dealt with with the situation and got us our new mortgage offer in record time whilst keeping control of it at every step so we were never left guessing. Dealing with Mike and his staff at the Alton office has been a pleasure. Always cheerful, Mike has kept me informed on the sale of my mothers house, enabling me to keep my two sisters constantly up to date with progress. Your industry gets a lot of bad press, much of it warranted, but when you find an agent who is always at the end of the phone for good or bad news and takes you through the process professionally and with an element of humour (sometimes you just have to laugh) then you put your faith in that agent to deliver....and Mike did. Credit to his team too, very charming and attentive and know their subject. Outcome and journey

We have had a successful outcome after 5 months of selling our late mother's home,the journey through this process has been steered by mike. For 3 siblings selling a probate property has been challenging, both for managing our expectations and hearing some of our prospective buyers less than heart warming comments!! One such being that we needed to cut the grass before the survey . I guess what you need in this process is some humour, realistic advice and guidance as to how to manage the emotional element of it all , as well as the cold facts on the uk house buying process. Mike has been able to do all that we asked of him and his cheery voice and optimism has been valued. Mike has remained human and professional a difficult cliff edge to walk in the house buying world . Also Mikes team have been consistent in their dealings with us, keeping information flowing.

From the first time we walked into Charters in Alton Mike has been the friendly, supportive, professional estate agent that everyone needs. He has been there managing the purchase of our new home from the builder and communicating with the agent selling our previous one. From the outset of my mum's selling process Mike and his team have been friendly, professional and proactive. Marketing of Alton residential property

I approached Charters to sell my house because the same agent was marketing the house of my choice. The reason to sell was a change in personal circumstances (death in the family) and a need to start afresh. The house didn't sell largely because it needed updating (no real surprise) and some felt the bye pass noise somewhat intrusive. Nonetheless, there were over 35 viewings all of which were handled tactfully and professionally. Mike also kept a very close liaison with the owners of my house of choice who were keen for me to buy it. Sadly, the one promising offer was withdrawn and I decided to withdraw the house from the market, remain and update. Throughout the 9 months of marketing, Charters staff were excellent and Mike was a true professional. I would certainly choose Charters again in the future if or when my house were to be sold.

Everyone hopes that their move is going to be straight forward, but when it isn't thats when you really need help and support. Our sale has been a rather difficult one as just before exchanging contracts we had a burst pipe and our downstairs was completely flooded. I was very pleased with the way the house was advertised and it soon attracted potential buyers. Very Professional Service and a Pleasure to do Business With

After 12-13 months of trying to sell our house we got Mike/Charters on the case and within a few weeks they had sold our property (we also bought our new property through Mike).
