Being a first time buyer, I was put at total ease by James who has made it possible for me to own my first property. Understated professionalism is the best way to describe James who has been amazing throughout the process. Right from the time my offer was accepted, James has been a massive support. James has been instrumental in helping me finding the right & efficient solicitors too. A first time buyer is in perfect hands with White & Sons, they take away all the stress! The Reigate team are lovely and super helpful. You are treated like an adult at all times, communication is carried out in a respectful and timely manner, no nosy questions, very professional team who are great at putting a first time buyer at ease. I had to deal with a personal emergency during the process, but James was so patient and understanding that he gave me the time to do what I needed to , without even once bothering me! The journey of owning a home has been smooth and surreal. I could not have achieved it without James. It is so hard to find modest estate agents. Well done to James for his amazing customer service. Rented through this estate agents and ended up being a awful experience. We kept the house so nice but when we left they accused us of stealing stuff,lying on checkout constant emails it’s been awful. I was in hospital at the time of moving and it’s been a horrible experience I’m so glad I’m out of the rental sector as the way they treat tenants is awful. It doesn’t matter how well you look after the property they will try to take every last penny they can! We went round to ask if we had any post and got accused of harassing the new tenants I have never heard anything like it! Don’t don’t don’t rent through this estate agents unless you like being fleeced at every last corner!

GoogleWe had a viewing end of January and completed in April !! Freya and the team at White and Sons were always ahead of the game. Once we had made an offer, Freya arranged countless more visits to the cottage in Old Oxted so that we could measure up, show family and even do a pre-move in spring clean. W&S were in constant dialog with the seller to sort out issues and questions for us and always chased the seller's solicitor for documentation and legal bits. Not once did we ever chase W&S, Freya always came back to us and if she was out on a valuation or visit another member of the team would call us. It was clear that the whole team were invested in providing a first class service. We couldn't be happier with our cottage in the country side and believe the service we received from W&S could not be bettered either. David and Nadine

GoogleWhite & Sons (Oxted) helped us to sell our Westerham property - the whole team were brilliant from marketing the house, showing people around, dealing with the legal process and getting us across the finishing post. Special mention to Loraine whose tenacity in holding together what should have been a simple, short chain was beyond the call of duty and we may not have got there without her knowledge, experience and willingness to make it happen. Every team member was always helpful and responsive to any issues. Would highly recommend them!

It was a very long process for us to buy our house. We placed an offer that was accepted around 8 months ago, and we only just exchanged due to the length of the chain but also a lot of failings from our own solicitors and the sellers solicitors. James Richards from White and Sons Horley was the only person during this experience who offered clarity. He was always clear, to the point, honest and understanding as to how stressed we were that we were close to losing this house. He always responded to emails promptly, got back to us over the phone as soon as he could and I always felt listened to and that I had made progress after touching base with him. I believe we potentially would have not exchanged on the property and lost the house if it wasn’t for James intervening with our solicitors, advising us what to do and bridging the communication gaps between the solicitors. Thank you so much James!

We have used the block management team at White & Sons for the management of our small estate in Dorking for the last ten years. We have found them to be very helpful and responsive to queries; equally they refer matters to the directors of the management company for approval on a regular basis for approval rather than being overly presumptive.Justin Theobald has always been there in overall charge of the team and has been happy to meet or discuss matters with with the directors when necessary. We have always found Justin to be very professional and also approachable.

White & Sons Dorking office were asked if they would take over the running of our block management. Justin personally handled the change over & visited site to meet directors to get a full understanding of the contract requirements, which was just the reassurance we needed. Jamie has been our block manager since before covid & his knowledge, service & commitment to our community is simply outstanding. He has helped us with tricky situations, legal knowledge on top of the routine requirements of the running of our small contract/community. Both Justin & Jamie have been on hand whenever we have needed them & I can't rate White & Sons Dorking highly enough.
