Great experience!

We had a very positive experience with White & Sons in Dorking. The whole team were friendly, approachable and helpful throughout the process. They were always responsive when we had questions and gave us the time and flexibility we needed, including arranging multiple visits to the property while we completed surveys, inspections and various checks. We never felt rushed, which made what can be quite a stressful process much easier to manage. A special thank you to Philip, who was excellent from start to finish. He was patient, professional and genuinely helpful, guiding us through the process and doing his best to accommodate our requests, including access to the property on several occasions. As we worked through the different checks and decisions involved in the purchase, Philip remained understanding and supportive throughout. We really appreciated his help and would happily recommend him and the White & Sons Dorking team.

Excellent service

We recently purchased a property from White and Sons, dealing with Cedric, Jack and Erin. We can’t thank them enough for all the help and guidance they gave us during the process. Erin showed us round and took the time to sit and listen to our concerns and answer our questions in a really relaxed way which put us at ease. Cedric has been so helpful all through, going above and beyond expectations in helping to sort problems which cropped up along the way, and Jack deputised for him and was really helpful too. We have no hesitation in recommending this team for their professionalism, and helpful attitude. We had excellent dealings with them .

An exceptionally committed team!

I cannot recommend Cedric & his team highly enough. From start to finish the service was exceptional, when issues arose within the chain they were dealt with promptly and efficiently, all of the staff absolutely go the extra mile to get the results for their clients. The fact they are an independent agent again is a massive plus, it’s a very personal service that is offered, something I feel is very much lacking in the bigger “chain” agencies…. Lettings and sales both excellent

Lettings: Very professional to deal with from finding suitable tenants to dealing with any problems in the property. The people at White and Sons would find reliable and first class tradesmen to correct any problems that arose during a tenancy. They researched the best prices for white goods when they needed replacing and organised installations when required. I always felt that I didn’t need to worry about the property because White and Sons would take good care of it on my behalf. Sales: I eventually needed to sell the property and White &Sons negotiated with my tenants and saw the process through from start to finish. I couldn’t be more pleased.

After four years of being a reliable…

After four years of being a reliable tenant, All rent paid on time, I’m shocked that White & Sons are trying to take a large portion of my deposit over trivial issues. They listed things like a grain of dust as justification for charging me for a full professional clean. That’s not wear and tear that’s nitpicking. I kept the property clean, took photos before leaving, and handed it back in good condition. Yet they still tried to push excessive charges. I’ve since seen other tenants reporting the same behaviour, which says a lot. Tenants deserve fairness, not exploitation. If this happens to you, don’t accept it use the deposit protection scheme dispute process, which is there to stop agencies from making unreasonable deductions.
