Stress free, breath of fresh air... 5*

Selling with White & Sons was a breath of fresh air. James & Stephanie initially provided clear advice with regard to pitching our property at an appropriate level to generate interest and for that, we are particularly grateful. Their knowledge of the local market, in addition to the way in which their photographer and videographer presented our house saw us find a buyer well ahead of many neighbours who had similar homes on the market at that point in time. Lucy & Kate visited us at our house before we began any viewings to familiarise themselves and on returning to the office booked in several viewings before photos were even taken. We genuinely felt as though we had the whole team working with us, which was in stark contrast to a previous experience we had with another agent. Nikki & Ally, their viewing assistants are clearly well experienced and were simply a pleasure to deal with. We were surprised, given the current market conditions to receive several offers after our first weekend of viewings and Stephanie expertly negotiated with our preferred buyers to the point of acceptance. What really made White & Sons and the Horley team stand out in particular was how the handled a price re-negotiation with our buyer. We felt completely assured that the team were working for us and had our best interests at heart and although we ultimately did concede slightly on price, James stepped in and was able to negotiate a discount on our onward purchase. Right the way through the process, we regularly spoke with the team, calls were always returned when they said and as such, they removed any stress from the process. We are glad we trusted in their recommended solicitors too, as it was clear that the communication between them and White & Sons was fluid, which resulted in us completing the sale in just 9 weeks. The valuation and marketing reflected every aspect that I felt important and were carefully discussed with Andrew who had extensive knowledge of the various types of properties and values particularly in Reigate. The details and video were highly professional and showed the house at its best. Viewings were always arranged and managed with my agreement and feedback quickly provided. Rebecca and Lisa Jane were so helpful with this. We had a very positive experience with White & Sons in Dorking. The whole team were friendly, approachable and helpful throughout the process. They were always responsive when we had questions and gave us the time and flexibility we needed, including arranging multiple visits to the property while we completed surveys, inspections and various checks. We never felt rushed, which made what can be quite a stressful process much easier to manage. A special thank you to Philip, who was excellent from start to finish. He was patient, professional and genuinely helpful, guiding us through the process and doing his best to accommodate our requests, including access to the property on several occasions. Lettings: Very professional to deal with from finding suitable tenants to dealing with any problems in the property. The people at White and Sons would find reliable and first class tradesmen to correct any problems that arose during a tenancy. They researched the best prices for white goods when they needed replacing and organised installations when required. I always felt that I didn’t need to worry about the property because White and Sons would take good care of it on my behalf. Sales: I eventually needed to sell the property and White &Sons negotiated with my tenants and saw the process through from start to finish. I couldn’t be more pleased.
