GoogleMy wife and I bought a 3-bed property in the area through Elise. Buying a house can be a proving ground for a stronger character, or a point of self reflection that indeed, once again, you bit off more than you can chew. Luckily, and very timely Elise nudged us to the former. She is a talented negotiator, articulate and skilled communicator with a delightful personality and efficient nature. We felt comfortable with her each step of the way whilst she problem solved in the background on our behalf. A pleasure working with the branch, no nonsense, just really good customer service. Unlike a great restaurant I will however not be returning soon, as indicated by my initial comments!

GoogleWaterford’s Camberley. The rental process was fantastic, Matt was excellent. However, having to terminate my tenancy early due to redundancy has been horrific! An extortionate early termination fee had to be paid. I then had to wait for three weeks for my deposit (legally it apparently has to be returned within 10 days). I am also owed 2 weeks overpayment in rent, the landlord is refusing to pay Waterford’s this, having to wait at least 6 weeks for it. There is no logical reason for it, poor excuses from staff at Waterfords. They have not escalated to senior management as requested by me. I was without an oven and had a problem with drainage in shower for the first 3 weeks of tenancy… when I suggested a reduction in the rent to compensate I was told “that we do not want to upset the landlord” so would not request this. Absolutely disgusting bias towards landlord. Do not use this agent!!

Dear Mr Hughes, Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry for the delays with your end of tenancy process. Our team worked with your landlord to secure an early termination to your tenancy agreement, as well as further reducing the tenancy than the agreed check out time and date. We understand that you are now in receipt of both your rent overpayment and your deposit, plus a further refund on the extra days’ rent which was a goodwill gesture agreed by your landlord. Hopefully this means that all the outstanding issues are resolved, if there are further issues then please don’t hesitate to contact us. We apologise for the delays in maintenance you experienced during your tenancy. Whilst contractors did visit the property within 24 hours of issues being reported, on occasion the repairs could not take place on site. Often this is caused by needing to order parts to complete repairs. This can be frustrating, but we always endeavour to have repairs concluded as quickly as possible.
