PLEASE READ ITS IMPORTANT! I had a call from swoop funding to apply for a loan.. on the interest based of 1.8%… and they applied for terminals from world pay and lure you into world pays system which you’re not aware off.. which puts you on a debt of every month on £96. (World pay is a card machine company) It’s such a shame they don’t even respond to your what’s app messages etc.. or call back once the application is done from their side.. it took me since October to March (6 months) to sort this matter out with world pay.. they have done it to a friend of ours to.. please be aware… the reviews are a COMPLETE LIE… They’re made by their own staff.. no one can give you a loan on the rate of 1.8% and who wants a terminal to apply for a loan.. this is a SCAM.. fortunately World pay told me they have been going through so much hassle to sort this issues out.. the person who scammed me was Ibrahim and Zara. Please be careful… this is a hoax.

Thank you bringing this incident to our attention. We want to clarify that the phone call you received did not come from Swoop. Unfortunately, we are aware of scammers falsely claiming to represent us, and we’re actively addressing this issue with the help of our legal team. Swoop NEVER cold-calls businesses to offer loans, and we always ensure we understand a business's needs before discussing any financial solutions. We take this matter very seriously, and we would greatly appreciate your help in assisting our investigations. Please reach out to charlotte@swoopfunding.com with any further details about the call. As an added measure, please always check that any emails you receive are from a @swoopfunding.com address, as we do not send from any other domains. Thank you again, and please don’t hesitate to contact our support team with any additional concerns.

THIEVES! Without doubt the worst financial services company we have ever dealt with ! Silverlink Newcastle office tell blatant lies , change figures on forms , send data protected information to incorrect email addresses, change dates on FCA regulated paperwork, they even changed the rates after signed dated agreement in place . Take my advice, don’t trust swoop finance as a broker and avoid Investec Asset Finance or be prepared to be not only lied to but also have additional charges added without consent or signed contract or even notification, tried complaining to the local office but they are either incapable or unwilling to help (although they’ll tell you different when you speak to them, yep more lies!) legal action awaits Update! After the above review I have been contacted via email and asked to remove my genuine true account of my experience so far , Swoop claim they have had a verbal agreement with Acquis and Investec that a refund will be processed after admitting there are no grounds for the over charges Swoop set up our agreement through a company called Investec asset finance . Investec asset finance illegally set up a third party insurance policy that I was not made aware of , indeed , I have no proof such a policy even exists as I’ve been provided no documentation, I gave no authorisation for any of it and knew nothing about until they changed my direct debit amount and only when we questioned it were we given an invoice and told what the amount was for , they say they are currently processing my refund (this response has only happened after I made my experience public ) for the 3 months of payments they have taken yet still nothing received as yet. The agreement set up through a broker called Swoop Finance, they are the worst fca regulated business I have ever dealt with. The unnecessary and unauthorised policy they claim to have set up is through one of their partner company’s Acquis uk. They decided between them that it was acceptable to charge me over £8600.00 for an additional insurance when I already had adequate cover and proof was provided. Thieves and rip off merchants , legal action now pending.

We take customer feedback very seriously and always strive to provide a transparent and professional service. However, the claims in this review are inaccurate and misleading. We understand that your concerns relate to additional insurance charges imposed by the lender after your finance was arranged. While these charges are entirely outside of Swoop’s control, we are making every effort to assist by liaising with the lender on your behalf. We have informed you and your team of any progress and continue to follow up with the organisations involved for a resolution. It is also important to clarify that Swoop does not alter paperwork, misrepresent information, or change rates on regulated agreements. We have reviewed your file in detail and found no evidence to support these accusations. If you do have factual evidence of any wrongdoing, we would give it our highest level of attention. We are always happy to support our customers, but we also encourage fair and fact-based feedback. If you would like to discuss this further, we remain available to assist.

We purchased two businesses that used feefo reviews last year. Our other business use Reviews.io and Judge.me. We have, however, been trapped in 2 contracts that are specifically designed to trap their customers into paying for an entire year's worth of service, whether they want to or not. I'll be honest, I mis-read their terms as '90 days from renewal date' however, it isn't. It's "automatically renews and you can only give notice 90 days before the end of the period that you don't want to renew". If you miss that 90 days, you're trapped for the remainder of the 90 days PLUS another year on top. I thought contracts like this died with leased line telecoms put apparently, they are alive and well at feefo. Absolutely appalling contract with absolutely appalling customer service. There have been problems with the system since the beginning with invoices not being supplied, no access to the admin panel, failure to take direct debits leading to threats of suspension, failure of sales to upload (we have no idea why) and we're trapped and unable to ditch this appalling company for another year. Meanwhile, we've moved 1 of the two websites to a different platform and are now happily using Judge.me.

Feefo carry out customer reviews on behalf of Cotages.com. I booked a cottage for a xmas trip with family. We arrived at the cottage but the owner was awful, said we hadn’t booked so we had to return home. I tried to put this info on the Feefo review request but it was censored - the feefo customer services took out the bad customer experience and left the good bits (that referred to the Cottagss.com refunding my money quite quickly. Feefo are just a censor, I won’t ever believe anything written on it.

Due to a terrible car-buying experience, I decided to leave a review on AutoTrader. I provided all the evidence, and at first, Feefo approved my comment. But when the dealer complained, they deleted my comment without even notifying me. It’s clear they’re just helping the dealer boost their reviews, completely ignoring customers like me who spend real money and get treated poorly, losing money in the process, and yet we're even denied the chance to leave a review.

Severely messing me around. I wrote a review for them and they butchered the review, reducing it from a long review, down to about a sentence and a half. After seeing that they do this on the regular, I felt that I didn't want to support them, and asked for their version of my review to be taken down, and for them to delete the information they hold on me. They keep emailing me but not acknowledging my request to have the so called review removed, or saying when they will delete it. They just want to play email ping pong, and refuse to acknowledge a simple request. Each email from employs diversion tactics. As a warning to other consumers out there, should you receive an invite from this company, asking you to review something, your best bet is to block their email and send it to spam. I highly recommend not engaging with this company, unless you enjoy being messed around.

I attempted to leave a one-star review of a company I'd recently purchased from who had delivered sub-standard goods and who were very, very slow in responding to my requests for a return and appropriate packaging. Feefo emailed twice asking for me to review my purchase but on both occasions (one only a matter of hours old) I was told the link had expired. It would appear that only positive reviews are allowed to be posted as anything negative never gets published due to this expired link trick. A dishonest review site, in my opinion, not to be trusted. Update 28th January: Feefo have contacted me asking me to get in touch and have the link restored, so I did, only to be told because I'd bought two products (I hadn't, they'd sent the original review link plus a reminder, for the same product) they couldn't do that. I've asked them to explain but as yet have received no reply. So not only are the reviews questionable, it appears basics like knowing how their own system actually works is up for debate as well. Laughable. I won't name the company I wanted to review here as I've done it elsewhere now with a review site that doesn't filter it's content.

Agent replied · 19 June 2026

Hi David Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we’d like to clarify a few points. Our goal at Feefo is to provide a transparent and honest platform where all genuine feedback, positive and negative, can be shared. The expiration of review links is simply a security measure to ensure reviews are submitted within a reasonable timeframe and remain tied to verified purchases. If your link expired too quickly, that’s certainly not intentional, and we’d be happy to investigate further to see what went wrong. We’d also like to ensure your review is published. If you could reach out to our support team at support@feefo.com with details about your order and the issue you faced, we’ll do everything we can to help resolve this. Your voice is important to us, and we’re committed to ensuring it’s heard. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to address your concerns promptly. Best regards, The Feefo Team

We have used Feefo since 2018 and we have found the platform user-friendly and easy to operate. Support tickets are answered promptly and the customer service team are extremely helpful and well-informed. Feefo offer a variety of widgets to help display reviews and the gathering and display of genuine customer feedback is a wonderful way of demonstrating that we are a trusted brand.

Honestly, the most pointless review platform I’ve come across. I left a positive review for a property I stayed in for holiday, the property was lovely and we said we would stay again, the only criticism being that for a property which rents out for 1000 to 1500 a week they should be annually maintaining it better in the winter months when it’s out of season - eg decorating it and deep cleaning (which they hadn’t) They removed my review stating it breached the terms, how ridiculous to have a review platform that artificially moderates reviews, utterly pointless. In a nut shell, avoid using companies that use fee go as the reviews are not accurate reflections of customer experiences, as is demonstrated in the 2 star review they have in their own Google page, if this was a feefo page the review would have deleted all of these comments.

Pulled my honest review and won't answer the phone or reply to my requests for it to be reinstated. Basically they are paid by their clients to create restrictive policies on what is deemed relevant/useful/accurate so they can filter out all the really negative stuff. Won't be relying on Feefo for any product recommendations in future that's for sure.

Just look at the reviews of various businesses on all other sites, collate the data and compare it to Feefo. Feefo is basically a shill company to ensure a company that has 2 stars elsewhere can maintain a perfect review record. They want people to jump through pointless hoops to give an honest review, then ensure it goes through your spin process to water down criticism. Who founded this company, Peter Mandelson?
