Viewed a property for sale in beith over the bank holiday weekend, absolutely perfect for us, and on phoning the estate agents found out "the seller only wants first time buyers?". Absolutely insane to me that you can post a property saying "all viewings welcome" then have people fall in love with a property to find out we can't purchase it because we aren't first time buyers? Why was this not listed in the description? It literally listed the opposite. Really upset as it was the perfect house for us given the recent mobility issues I face. Wish it had been listed in the actual description then I wouldn't have gotten my hopes up or even looked at it. Didn't even get the chance to explain we didn't need to sell our property first.

It was a good start but as time went on I felt it went off the boil. Lots of time wasters coming to view with no intention of buying, communication from Roxy and Thomason was great, as this lengthy period went on I emailed to take it off the market, this never happened, eventually a buyer was found and again a lengthy process of silence, we’d given up if I’m honest, then received a call to ask us to be out in one week, when I said this was impossible they asked Why? I then agreed personally with the buyers a reasonable date to vacate and complete. I did a lot of the negotiation myself. I do repeat though that Roxy & Thomason are a credit to your business

Everyone in the highworth team that we spoke to were helpful and proactive. Laura who managed our sale and Chloe who helped us with our second viewing, were both brilliant. I was having trouble with my tax office who wanted documented proof of the value of the plot of land my house stands on, minus the value of the house itself, which no-one else seemed to be able to help me with. I mentioned it in passing to one of the TM staff who manage the rental of my house for me and she contacted Robert at TM. 'I can do that for you, no problem' came the response from him, as if it was something he could do in his sleep. A few emails backwards and forwards to establish the facts and I was then in possession of a PDF on headed paper giving me exactly what I needed. And to top it all off, he said 'no charge'. Thomas Morris in general are a good team and I have no issues with the way they manage my house for me. So if you need any information or help with anything to do with property, start with Thomas Morris. You probably won't need to go any further. Thank you Robert, I was able to sleep a lot better that night without the stress of wondering how I was going to resolve the issue.

My partner and I bought a property November 2025 and throughout the whole process, Anna Currey and team were amazing. We're new to the area and they were so informative and welcoming. Anna looked after the progression of our purchase and was really ontop of it, chasing where needed and keeping us up-to-date. We recieved a lovely little welcome box on moving day and thankfully it went so smoothly, with the keys being released at 11am before we had even finished packing up the lorries! I have been letting through Thomas Morris for a couple of decades now. Their business model has recently changed and although it has been difficult for me to understand who deals with what these days as tasks have become more specialised and I don't have an individual I can approach about each of my properties, this approach has been very useful at the end of tenancy of one of my properties where Sheetal has been dealing with the deposit return and has done a good job, despite being remote from the property.

We have just exchanged on a house purchase which was marketed by Thomas Morris, it’s been a long road but I have to say Robert Arnold was the most active estate agent in the chain making sure things moved along, rightfully and robustly challenging the agents further up the chain when things were not moving at all. We were known to Thomas Morris, having viewed another property with them so they were able to bring this house to our attention proactively and the proactive approach continued throughout the deal to exchange today. TM should do what they can to keep hold of Robert, he’s a real asset to the business and really put the work in to earn his fee on this transaction. Thanks for the help.

We've recently had a very challenging six months, as we were unexpectedly informed that our landlord intended to sell the property at the end of our tenancy. Understandably, this was a huge shock and led to some stressful and, at times, heated email exchanges and conversations. Throughout it all, Sheetal has been a calm and reassuring presence. Her responses have always been clear, calm, and timely, and she made a real effort to put me at ease whenever I called or emailed. She handled every interaction with professionalism and empathy, which made a difficult situation much more manageable. We're incredibly grateful for her support. That said, I do think Thomas Morris could improve their internal communication across departments. There were several instances where I felt I had to chase things up repeatedly and include multiple people in email threads, only to be told certain queries weren't within someone’s remit. This fragmented approach added unnecessary stress to an already difficult time. Another positive aspect was having the estate agent serve as a buffer between us and the landlord, who unfortunately has not been the most helpful or sympathetic. While I understand their financial reasons for selling, as tenants who’ve looked after the property and considered it home, a bit of compassion would have gone a long way. Thank you again, Sheetal, for your patience and professionalism during such a tough time. Your support really made all the difference.
