GoogleEllie was fantastic throughout the process of selling our late Dad's house. Proactively engaged from start to finish, kept us informed, and was understanding of our circumstances, and empathetically managed through some challenges we had. Cannot recommend her more highly.

GoogleThese guys were thoroughly professional. My house was on the market for 2 weeks, tho a week of that was waiting for the EDC evaluation, that was done on the Tuesday with pics taken the same day, by the Friday my house was sold!!! Amazing

TrustpilotSeriously terrible referencing process
The staff I dealt with were generally welcoming and friendly. My issue with this estate agent is their shocking referencing process. First of all the referencing process itself was literally a conversation with an AI bot on some website. I never even spoke with a real person from their so called ‘referencing team’. This AI bot they have doing their referencing checks found that my partners mum had a CCJ from six years ago (when my partner was a mere seventeen year old boy). As far as I know this should not affect us because the ccj was related to my partners mum- who would not have any part in renting the property! Following this they, *without checking with us*, immediately offered the flat we had applied for to somebody else and kept our holding deposit ‘as a forfeit for providing misleading information’ (which we didn’t even do). Yay! To my understanding you do not need to disclose that you have adverse credit just because a family member *who is not applying to rent the property* has adverse credit. Let me reiterate this ccj had nothing to do with us. We think it flagged up because it’s related to his current address as he currently lives with his mum. All they had to do was call us first and say ‘are you aware you have a ccj from 2019?’ Before offering the flat to somebody else. We could have got to the bottom of it pretty quickly. But never mind. Anyway it’s a shame because the people we dealt with up until this point were totally fine. They just need an actual referencing team (and if they do have one they need one that actually does their job) and I think it would be good practice for them to double check before offering your property to somebody else based on poorly checked information.

GoogleGreat experience buying my first property through Oulsnam. Liz was amazing throughout - had answers to all my questions during the viewing and knew the property well. Throughout the process was really efficient liaising between myself and the seller. Liz kept everything moving quickly despite being in a very long chain. Would definitely buy and sell future properties through Oulsnam.

GoogleFrom my first interactions with the Bournville team I had a good feeling about them, I felt very comfortable dealing with them, something I definitely can't say about other estate agencies I approached. As a first time buyer Karen and Emma were both great at helping me with the buying process, kept me informed at every point and we're incredibly helpful. Would very much recommend using Oulsnam and would use them in the future if I have need of an estate agent.

GoogleA bit late posting this, but just wanted to say that the whole team at Oulsnam Bournville were just the best when we bought through them recently. Lovely people, super communicative & plain speaking (no jargon!) They helped us navigate quite a tricky purchase due to probate and renegotiations after the survey, but it felt like they weren’t taking sides but trying to ensure a fair outcome for all. Highly recommended, though we have no intention of selling the lovely house we bought from them and are in the process of renovating. 5 stars all round thanks 🙏

They even answer the phone! Emma is brilliant, very knowledgable, patient and calm. With her support, I found what could have been a very stressful process, to be easy to navigate. GoogleVery mixed bag with Tom. He was very pleasant and helpful when he was signing me up for a tenancy, which I paid in full, but the after care was quite poor. Pre-agreed terms were not met until I pushed for them to be met, and coming towards the end of the tenancy, he seems to be attempting to label enforcement of legally binding terms as "aggressive and childish" and called me a "knob". Definitely a buyer beware situation.

As a purchaser quickly Mark identified our requirements and limitations and worked hard to facilitate a deal to get it over the line to suit all parties. To also have Laura follow up the conveyancing process on an almost weekly basis was useful to keep the sale on track. I would highly recommend this team!
