I am absolutely thrilled with the experience I had with Streets Ahead in Addiscombe. I was very particular about what i wanted to buy but Marina convinced me to step out of my comfort box and i ended up buying something i would never have thought id consider. Her knowledge of the area was unbelievable and i felt completely relaxed and at ease when dealing with her. After my offer was accepted i was left in the care of Robyne the Sales Progressor who's guidance and constant reassurance was very comforting, i was so nervous and both her and Marina always had the right thing to say, here i am 5 weeks later all moved in and extremely happy. I would not hesitate to recommend them and i will certainly be returning when i come to sell. Thank you ladies, you're amazing! x

I have just moved into a lovely flat and was helped throughout by George and Emma. I first spoke with George; I was able ask him anything regarding the property, the process and worries I had and he would answer with the most pleasant manner. With George you feel that he is there to help you, not a sales man! that was really nice. Emma was equally friendly and responded to my emails very quickly. There was a hiccup with the papers but she rectified this promptly. Both are very professional and you feel you can speak to "real" people! Overall a very nice experience, thank you

They really are the best agents in London, after trying to sell my house for months with other 'so called ' agents Jason and his team took over and had 40 viewings in a weekend and it went for the asking price. Had an excellent experience with Marina Steel. We only met once on a viewing but she listened to my wants and needs from a property. We highly commend the Streets ahead team for helping us with our property search. It started a year ago when we first started viewings with Harley who was always very professional and courteous. Harley takes time to explain any processes so that we fully understand what is happening. We have also viewed with Pawal who is also very approachable and professional. Most importantly however, we would like to highly commend Richard Houlden who guided us through many viewings until we found our new home. Throughout the whole process, Richard remained extremely professional, prompt, helpful and willing to answer and investigate any queries that we had. He listened to us and understood exactly what we were looking for and recommended many properties to view which fit our criteria. He really went the extra mile with us and helped us through our first experience of being gazumped. He was sensitive to how we felt about this and patiently encouraged us to press ahead. Richard has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and always arranged any viewings and follow up calls promptly. He has helped to make our long property search much easier and fruitful! I can't recommend Gemma from the Coulsdon branch highly enough. She listened to what we wanted from a property and found us a home in the right price range that met all our criteria. She really helped us out as first time buyers by talking us through the process in plain language and even stepped in when our sales progression person went on maternity leave and tirelessly chased our seller's solicitor to get us exchanged. We literally couldn't have done it without her.

Very Unprofessional Agency, Loosing time. Very unorganised and disrespectful. They booked 20 other people at the same viewing time as me for vewing the property, and after waiting for her all of this time, we have been told that they do not have the key and the tenant is not in. Horrible experience! If there is less than one star I got to give it I never recommend it for anybody! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I left a review: By far the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. The degree of unprofessionalism they display is horrific and I regret ever renting with them. My partner and I have been renting from the 1st of December and have had nothing but trouble from them. It's remarkable how, before I signed the lease, I was pestered with calls and repeated emails urging me to rent a property with Streets Ahead. As soon as we signed and handed over our deposit, we heard nothing more from them. We were constantly passed from person to person when we tried to enquire further with regards to our moving in. When we eventually received the keys to the property we discovered that the house was in an utterly disgusting state. It was evident that NOTHING had been cleaned. The toilet seat was completely broken, ELEVEN lightbulbs needed to be replaced. There were clumps of hair on the floor, congealed food glued to the fridge and unwanted junk (including a pair of dirty socks, thanks) that the previous tenants left. We immediately wrote a detailed letter outlining everything that was broken/required repair and requested that the house be cleaned to habitable standards as we were due to move in that weekend. We heard... nothing. The next day we tried to call the office three times. Each time we were told that our property manager - Kelly Alleyne - was on another call, but would return our call as soon as she was free. And we heard... nothing! We then went to the office the following day (in the middle of trying to move) to speak to the manager, Kunal Patel. He certainly made all the appropriate noises, claimed Kelly was off sick the day before (?!?!?!?!?) but she would respond to us the next week. No apology was made for the state of the property, no remuneration offered. I did indeed receive a message from Kelly as promised (I have come to learn, this is a miracle) assuring me she would call later. SPOILER ALERT. She did not call. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture. We have been emailing and calling for TWO MONTHS trying to sort out the most basic of amenities. It took six weeks to receive an inventory checklist which was promised to us the day we moved in. We eventually received compensation for the mess we found the property in, but all the repair work they promised would take place as not occurred. We currently have no lights in the bathroom or lounge and barely any light in the kitchen because we are waiting for repair work to be taken out by Streets Ahead. However, as Kelly as ignored the last six emails we have sent, I doubt this will happen. AVOID STREETS AHEAD AT ALL COSTS ** Helpful Hint ** If you are a current tenant renting through Streets Ahead, and have trouble with them, contact the landlord directly and make them aware of the situation. They're an appalling company who don't deserve any business.
