GoogleBy far the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. The degree of unprofessionalism they display is horrific and I regret ever renting with them. My partner and I have been renting from the 1st of December and have had nothing but trouble from them. It's remarkable how, before I signed the lease, I was pestered with calls and repeated emails urging me to rent a property with Streets Ahead. As soon as we signed and handed over our deposit, we heard nothing more from them. We were constantly passed from person to person when we tried to enquire further with regards to our moving in. When we eventually received the keys to the property we discovered that the house was in an utterly disgusting state. It was evident that NOTHING had been cleaned. The toilet seat was completely broken, ELEVEN lightbulbs needed to be replaced. There were clumps of hair on the floor, congealed food glued to the fridge and unwanted junk (including a pair of dirty socks, thanks) that the previous tenants left. I've attached images for your viewing pleasure - please do admire the vacuum cleaner, which was purchased that day and was used to hoover just the bedroom. We immediately wrote a detailed letter outlining everything that was broken/required repair and requested that the house be cleaned to habitable standards as we were due to move in that weekend. We heard... nothing. The next day we tried to call the office three times. Each time we were told that our property manager - Kelly Alleyne - was on another call, but would return our call as soon as she was free. We heard... nothing. We then went to the office the following day (in the middle of trying to move) to speak to the manager, Kunal Patel. He certainly made all the appropriate noises, claimed Kelly was off sick the day before (?!?!?!?!?) but she would respond to us the next week. No apology was made for the state of the property, no remuneration offered. I did indeed receive a message from Kelly as promised (I have come to learn, this is a miracle) assuring me she would call later. SPOILER ALERT. She did not call. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture. We have been emailing and calling for TWO MONTHS trying to sort out the most basic of amenities. It took six weeks to receive an inventory checklist which was promised to us the day we moved in. We eventually received compensation for the mess we found the property in, but all the repair work they promised would take place as not occurred. We currently have no lights in the bathroom or lounge and barely any light in the kitchen because we are waiting for repair work to be taken out by Streets Ahead. However, as Kelly as ignored the last six emails we have sent, I doubt this will happen. AVOID STREETS AHEAD AT ALL COSTS ** Helpful Hint ** If you are a current tenant renting through Streets Ahead, and have trouble with them, contact the landlord directly and make them aware of the situation. They're an appalling company who don't deserve any business.

GoogleJust wanted to say a huge thanks to the Team at Streets Ahead for helping us through the process of acquiring our new home. Keisha had great local knowledge and Ashley's calming yet enthusiastic approach helped quell immediate concerns during the viewing process - exactly what you want when upping sticks to a completely new area. Once our offer was accepted, Saphire did a brilliant job moving things along; keeping us up to the minute with developments on the vendors side. Easily an overall five-star service if not for some awkward welcomes and forced smiles at reception.

GoogleAfter filling out the online form for a number of estate agents in the Croydon area, Jenny from Streets Ahead was one of the only agents to call me to discuss my needs. I always received daily updates of properties coming on the market and if I was interested in an early viewing. The service from Jenny was always the best. I think the other estate agents can learn alot from Jenny's customer service skills. Jenny has been very helpful and I would definitely recommend Streets Ahead to anyone.

GoogleI recently purchased a property through Streets Ahead. The upside was that the property was in the perfect location and perfect size. I found Streets Ahead overall like any other Estate Agent. Harley was good at his work of showing us the property around. However, I would have expected the company to notify us when the property was broken into by squatters between the offer and exchange stage. I felt that Sapphire King Harris was seller focused, although her assistance at the exchange and completion stage was good due to a very bad solicitor I had. Perhaps it would have been better for estate agents to look at the buyer's perspective. In the end the seller was definitely the winner and Streets Ahead on its commission. But in the end, I got a great property with an okay service which balances the stars I have rated.

GoogleI have had a lovely experience with streets ahead Croydon. Patrick Jones, especially made my time enjoyable. He was very efficient and stuck to his word. When he said he would call he called. When he said he would email he emailed. I had quite a tight deadline but he managed to find me a house, and get me moved in all within just over a week! Once again, thank you Patrick !

GooglePatrick Jones at Streets ahead in Addiscombe was beyond amazing with his amazing customer service and attention to details. What really pleased us was that he always kept every single promise to call us back or email us. Many people forget these simple promises makes amazing service or not. I am glad to say Patrick excelled at this and more. He also approached any challenges we had with a common sense approach. Amazing guy and will highly recommend him!!! GoogleSimply the best! The Lettings Team are a special breed over here without a doubt. I was forced out of my home due to leaks and negligent behaviour from another reputable agent. After a torrid time with them we had to urgently find our next long term home for me, my wife and daughter. Alexandra was initially alerted that I was on the hunt for a home, she took ownership of the situation and stuck to me ensuring I find my next long term family home. funnily enough the property I ended up taking was her personal recommendation which was never on my radar but after being convinced in viewing, me and my family loved it! then both Alex and Kunal worked tirelessly to ensure I moved in urgently within my timeframes which we managed to make work with 1 day to go! needless to say me and my families happiness has been restored thanks to the great Streets Ahead Addiscombe Lettings Team. we have not looked back ever since and have great landlords. GoogleWriting on behalf of my sister who has recently completed on the sale of her property and she is absolutely over the moon with the service she received from Streets Ahead. In particular, their Sales Progressor Robyne. The transaction was far from straight forward and Robyne handled it compellingly with her tenacity, knowledge and patience, she knew the right things to say at the right time. She spent hours on end on the telephone to Land Registry and the solicitors trying to resolve the delays, she had no issues going that extra mile. We're certain if Robyne had not taken control of the sale when she did they would still be battling through trying to get exchanged. A big thank you to Robyne. Streets Ahead have already been recommended to the neighbours without hesitation.

GoogleI cannot thank our agent Robyne Bonar enough. We were in chain with a buyer (and associated solicitors) who was putting our own purchase at risk and Robyne was able to intervene and get everything in place for completion before our purchase fell through. She was proactive, incredibly conscientious and got the job done. She kept us up to date and was a safe pair of hands. Robyne was dealing with various parties and having had to speak all involved my view is that she was the most up to speed and responsible. I’m sure without her involvement our purchase would have fallen through so thank you Robyne - you’re an absolute star.

GoogleABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE !!! Beware of these DODGY people - I was ROBBED AT THE PROPERTY I was renting due to their negligence to maintain it and replace the balcony door, which the burglar has used to break into the house !! After I told them I'm moving out, they've arranged a viewing behind my back, inviting 10 people who walked around and touched my stuff - I've had a hidden CCTV recording !! At last they have arranged a check out without letting me know over the Easter Bank Holiday while I was moving out, unable to be present at it !! Then they said they will charge me for the broken balcony door that they've previously promised to fix - WHAT A LAUGH !! I wish to all the people I've dealt with within this agency to rot in hell - hope that Karma gets you and turns your life into a sick nightmare as you deserve it; people like you shouldn't have a right to breathe.
