Recently moved into our new home, and the experience has been brilliant! All the staff have been very helpful and have always gone the extra mile to help us. When we reserved the house we received a personalised portfolio of the house, there are multiple options for flooring/designs... in comparison to other companies I find strata very personally attentive and they offer a wide range of choices.

We’ve been in our house on the Definition development in Derby for a month now and we are completely in love with our new home which is a 4 bed detached Madeira. From the very start of the process (which wasn’t long - 7 weeks from first walking in the office to turning the key in the lock!) it’s been so easy, stress free and so exciting! We chose a house that was already built and after going to other companies where the customer service was awful it was a breath of fresh air to meet Tara who was so helpful and attentive from day 1! Since moving in Ryan has been great in getting niggles sorted quickly and both Ryan and Tara check to see things are ok regularly which gives us peace of mind! We would recommend Strata and Tara and Ryan to anybody thinking of that move to their dream home!

We bought a 4 bed rosas at Ambience in Linton, we looked at almost every new development in the area and also another strata one but this was the one we fell in love with.Charlotte our customer service manager/sales is literally the nicest person you will ever meet! She couldnt do enough for us and as we had a 6 month wait till our house was built she kept in touch pretty much every week regularly sending us updates etc. We even hope to stay in touch with her on a personal level as we formed a great relationship. Also we used all the people strata reccomended such as taylor bracewell solicitors and the mortgage beuro. All of the people involved (Emily , Alistair, Josh, Stuart) we all amazing and so helpful.We took a real shine to our FA Alistair, we had a few problems with our mortgage and he was so patient and understanding. He would even ring us in the evenings at 8pm when we were feeling stressed and worried. Without him we probably wouldnt have even managed to get our house due to the complications.I know a lot of people who say solicitors can be a nightmare, nope not taylor bracewell! The experince was fast, informative and Emily really knows her stuff. The site builders are all fab. Site manager Tom is very helpful a real lovely guy. He even offered us advice at the weekend when my other half managed to put a hole in the wall (dont ask) !! Today Tom put our tvs on The walls free of charge which was a real help- we didnt even ask, he offered.In regards to aftercare We havent had any problems minor snagging which is to be expected its a new house.Hole in the wall sorted the next working day. The people here on this site just cant do enough to help and get it done. Overall, amazing experience. I would definetly buy a strata house again . Thankyou everyone for our amazing experience we LOVE our house!!

After recently moving into our new home strata definition Derby the total experience has been exceptional.The way we’ve been looked after during the sales experience by Tara Osman was excellent the hand over on the day we moved in was faultless and then introduced to Ryan stancill the site manager who since then has been looking after us sorting any issues we had no matter how small very quickly and checking with us on a regular basis nothing is too much trouble. Based on our experience with Tara and Ryan they are a credit to the company and would highly recommend Strata if looking to purchase a new build property

I am a 1st time buyer so I was anxious about buying my new home , I felt supported and relaxed with Strata choices that suit every budget.I found nice offers in Strata to include kitchen appliances and built in wardrobes.I got step by step update from sales team after my reservation , I am glad with support with legal things as this was the last thing I had time to.I was emailed with every step in building my home with site visits and getting images that I saved. I would like to thanks much Tara for her great support , she is really helpful and patient in all steps.I was offered a good range of choices from individualizing my home , including bathrooms tiles, kitchen units and tiles, liked quality of doors inside my house , handles and tapes mixtures and showers.In Final stages , I started to get support from engineering team who supported us in finding facts about our new home in a nice home demonstration by Ryan. Ryan supported us in all details in this stressful stage when you move with a whole family including children. We can ring him and he responds promptly all times with great help. Now I have been in my new home for 2 weeks , feeling relaxed as have support from Strata (Tara and Ryan) when I need which makes much difference.I hope everyone a smooth happy experience of buying a new home which is a life changing one.

Recently moved into my 3 Bedroom Semi Detached Pareti house on the Definition development in Derby and the whole process has been perfect from start to finish! Tara was brilliant through the whole sale process, was willing to put up with all of the numerous ridiculous queries I had and provided me with the most up to date information she could! Even down to extra little pictures of the house! Really went above and beyond which has been very much appreciated! Then on moving into the house I have been dealing with site manager Ryan who has again been a pleasure to deal with, any little queries, questions or niggles I've had have been dealt with instantly and very professionally and I have been constantly reminded that he is only a quick call away!The overall quality of the house is superb and I would definitely recommend Strata to family and friends!

We have recently bought a house in Leeds with Strata Ambition 2. The first day we got into the sales office we met with this bloody lovely lady Catherine who is awesome and the loveliest lady I've ever met. She made us feel welcome and it was as if we had known her for years. She had been so supportive professionally through out which made us feel strong and confident we were at the right place at the right time. We finally got our dream home through Catherine's excellent services. If it wasnt for her, probably we would have given up the whole idea of owning a house. I personally love that bloody lady to bits. She made us feel honoured and gave us hope we were going to get our dream home and eventually its there for real. We feel Catherine deserves the Manageress of the year Award. We also give a big thank you to Danielle who finally handed out the house keys and finally we knew we had house which we call home. Strata keep up the with this proffessional services and we would not hesitate to recommend anyone to buy a house from you.

We bought a house in destiny Doncaster strata. And JULIE the sales lady is bloody amazing! Most loveliest woman I've ever met. She continued all the way through to help us make us feel comfortable and sorted any issues we had! She is an absolute asset to strata! The builder also Billie and other workers were amazing. Showed us around and made sure everything was to 100% top standard. Couldn't be happier with them. 100% recommend.

After over a year of searching, researching and looking at showhomes across West Yorkshire & just about every developer. My partner and I walked in to KUDOS!As soon as we walked through the door we felt at ease, comfortable and welcome. This was all thanks to Jenny. She has been amazing throughout the whole process so far & much of this is down to how open & honest she is about the process of buying a new build.Since our initial reservation, we have moved plots a further two times (we have now found the one) & whilst to many developers this would be incredibly frustrating... Jenny understood our reasons & even made that process incredibly easy.Jenny has helped put our mind at ease on so many occasions and for that we are so grateful!! We regularly pop in to the sales centre for a coffee & a chat about the development, upgrades, choices... no query is ever too much trouble! Thank you Jenny & roll on May 19!

We started looking to buy our first home towards the end of 2017 and always got the impression when we went into show homes that no-one wanted to actually help us because they presumed we couldn't afford it & we always felt looked down on due to us being a young-ish couple. I then met Tara when I nipped to the Definition site on my lunch one day and that's when our wonderful experience started. She was so lovely, attentive and very helpful and something just felt different when looking in the Strata show homes compared to all others. That weekend we had reserved our Seville after driving up to the other Strata site that had the show home up there and we was both so excited. Our options had already being chosen for us, but I couldn't have being happier with what Tara had chose (plus i think it would have saved us a few arguments anyway!!). We were very fortunate to have extra's included and even when I asked about an alarm being fitted they managed to include that too. Tara was great in terms of keeping us up to date with progress, sending us pictures and allowing us to pop inside our house to measure for bits & bobs. Ryan, Site Manager gave us our house demo the day before we moved in and was very thorough and a genuinely nice guy! When we moved in we had a couple of things we were unsure about but nothing was ever a problem for Ryan and his team and he would send someone out straight away to help us. I think that is something that has made this journey so less stressful because we know there is always someone there for you, even when you do drill into the radiator pipe at 7pm on a Sunday!!We have being in our home for over 5 months now and we love it more & more. It's lovely that although Ryan & Tara see so many faces everyday they still remember who we are & will always say hello & check up on us. We cannot thank the team at Strata Definition enough, and even my partners parents are now looking at buying a house on this estate because they were too so impressed with the quality of the house and the customer experience we received. x x

I have just moved into my first home on the Ambition development. I cannot thank Kathryn Reed enough for all of her time, support and kindness throughout the buying process. Nothing has ever been too much and Kathryn and the rest of the team at the show home have always been there for any question or concern I might have had. The aftercare I have received so far really has been great, Rick and the rest of the builders have been extremely helpful. Thank-you also to the solicitors and financial advisor help Strata offered. We moved into our new MONTREUX on Definition in Derby on 28.9.18.We began our journey back in April when we attended the Sales Office and was met by Tara Osman who was very knowledgeable, professional and very welcoming.She suggested looking around the showhomes for ideas and style of houses and we were blown away by the Montreux.We never dreamt we would actually own one of these beautiful and stunning houses.Once we reserved our new home, Tara kept us informed on a regular basis on the progress of our new home.I would also like to highly recommend Nik Travis who advised us on our mortgage. Nik found the ideal mortgage to suit our needs and also all the insurances to protect our family for the future. He even came to our home and discussed all the options, a very nice honest guy.We were then recommended to use Taylor Bracewell solicitors to assist us with the legal process. Emily Griffiths and Jasveer Kaur were brilliant and kept us informed throughout the whole legal process and made us feel very comfortable, which can be very stressful during the exchange process.Once we were in a position for the home demo, we were introduced to Ryan the project manager for the site. He gave us a very thorough home demonstration and was very professional and made us feel very welcome.We have had a few snags which Ryan and his team have resolved immediately, which we know is common with a new build as our last home was also a new build.He has called me on a number of occasions to make sure everything is ok with our new home, which shows how much Ryan wants the experience to be amazing. He is a nice guy and feel I can pick the phone up and he will not only listen to you, but will resolve any issues.So my 5 star review is based on a fantastic experience from start to finish. We have been in our new home now for 2 weeks and it's still feels surreal.Well done to Strata, Taylor Bracewell, Tara Osman, Emily Griffiths, Jasveer Kaur and Ryan the project manager.

We really can't thank everyone enough!!Tara and Ryan and all the team at Definition Derby have been absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, they made our move as stress free and trouble free as they could and the after care has been amazing!!Melanie and Chelsea at the part exchange team have also been fantastic, Melanie went out of her way for us and we'll be forever grateful!!And lastly Emily Griffiths and Jasveer at Taylor Bracewell solicitors, 4 weeks and 6 days to do our part exchange and get us moving into our beautiful new home!! Strata have been brilliant from the moment I walked into the Sales office at Panashe and spoke with Tami. Tami guided us through each stage of the buying process with ease, setting our minds at rest. The information pack containing all of the plans of the house was excellent and covered every aspect of the property.Before we moved in Gary the site manager was on hand to give a walk through of the house covering all the aspects of the fixtures and fittings.After we moved in Gary and Tami were on hand again to help with any issues. We've had 1 or 2 small issues, we have had were dealt with straight away by Gary and his team.We are totally happy with our brand new property.The only side we didn't enjoy as much was the part exchange, however we can't let that spoil the hard work Tami, Gary and his team put in to make our home enjoyable.I definitely recommend Strata to anyone who is looking for a new build home in Sherburn in Elmet.

Having recently purchased a property from Strata at the 'Ambience' development in Linton, I have to say Charlotte (site sales), Tom (site manager) & Emily (Taylor Bracewell Solicitors) have all been fantastic. Charlotte was very communicative throughout the sales process and was very easy to deal with. Since moving in Tom has been very supportive not just with any initial questions about the property, but also in sending over site based skilled workmen to help out with initial snags or even just putting up mirrors ect. Finally Emily at Taylor Bracewell - A conveyancer I would strongly recommend, who proactively works to keep the process moving.To summarise we're very happy in our new property and really appreciate the efforts of the above individuals to ensure a smooth purchase and subsequent move in. FANTASTIC JOB STRATA!!

Terrible Customer Care after you (stupidly) grant them maximum marks and they get paid their bonuses. I reported a Health and Safety Issue associated with a damaged door in March 2018 and having taken 3 days holidays to get the door fixed, we are now in October 2018 and the issue is still not resolved. They came on the 3 times (thank God they did turn up!) and brought the wrong door on all 3 occasions. My emails and phone calls are ignored and I have a 2-year old house from Strata with a taped up door to prevent further injuries to proudly show to visitors, despite ' we will fix it' promises from Strata Customer Care.

To all who may read thisLong story short:[THIS ALL HAPPENED WITHIN 3 MONTHS]1. The fence in our home is completely uneven and is still not fixed months later after complaining, as they keep saying they will correct it.2. Leak in bathroom on day one3. Second leak underneath the bath which ruined the dinning room below4. A FULL ON PIPE BURSTS AND CAUSES A FLOOD IN OUR HOME SENDING WATER INTO VARIOUS ROOMS, WHICH RUINED THE TOILET BELOW, DINING ROOM, KITCHEN CABINETS, CARPETS AND VARIOUS WALL FIXTURES.5. The boiler started to generate a fault 6. The Cylinder heating the water stopped working (even on emergency mode) and no one can fix it.As a result, extensive repairs are needed and the support from Strata in Leeds has been terrible.From lying about engineers who didn't show up, to lying about painters who never showed up and even the lies about the repairs. I would not recommend them and i am beyond disappointed with their entire team for taking advantage of me and my wife.This is not acceptable and for what you (the reader) has to do and spend on this home, it is not worth it, as they advertise quality but As of today, they still haven't rectified our home with heating, carpets, paintwork and other areas not done.
Hi Alain,I have spoken with the customer care team and the Leeds team on the development. The fence has been reported and is to be fixed as soon as possible. The boiler has a fault that requires a new part which has been ordered and as soon as this arrives the plumbers will be ablew to fix this issue.The leak that occurred was stopped and the damage has been repaired. The painters have been in and repainted all required areas and the carpet (which did arrive damaged, something out of our control) was reordered and fitted. Hannah your Customer Care Representative gave her personal number and asked you to call her if there were any issues during the works being carried out or if any of the contractors appointed for the jobs did not turn up when expected. She did not receive any contact regarding this.Hannah has kept you updated throughout the whole process, and while we understand that these issues can be inconvenient and cause some disruption, we believe we have gone above and beyond to repair your home in an efficient manner and to the high standards we maintain.If you have any further complaints, please contact care@strata.co.uk Best wishes,Natalie
